All along there were an invisible string tying you to me

Days later and I survived. I really did.

Dawson barely did though, he had a billion chores to do. He's also grounded I think, I didn't really listen to him when he complained to me.

I showed up to school after the whole thing, not excited for it at all.

I tell Jack and Jen about the whole thing, they are not surprised.

"I'm sorry that stupid asshole did that to you" Jen explains.

"God we are on the same team now, this will suck" Jack complains.

"It is so weird to me that I'm friends with a football player and a cheerleader" I laugh.

"Not just a cheerleader, the head cheerleader" Jack laughs.

"Oh shut up" Jen responds. "What happened after?"

"Well I had to get picked up by Pacey" I roll my eyes.

"Ooh I wonder how he's going to do tomorrow" Jack says concerned.

"With homecoming? I'm sure he'll survive" Jen laughs.

"Well Andie comes back tomorrow" Jack explains.

"Ooh that'll be weird" Jen says.

"Yeah it will be" Jack adds.

I definitely didn't realize how soon homecoming and Andies return were coming. I really didn't know what to think of Andie returning. I mean sure, we'd still be friends but what about Pacey? Why do I care about Pacey?

I go to my locker and find a note: that'll show you for talking shit about me. I'm not some stupid jock- Aaron

God I hate this kid. I can't believe I fell for it. I can't believe any of it. I feel so utterly stupid.

There is always celebrations for homecoming, so of course there was a stupid assembly.

My dad, being the coach, had to be up there presenting with the principal.

My brother was making short movie for it, but I couldn't see him anywhere.

Jen was up there cheering, although she hated it.
