Chapter 19 Sedate Me

Julia didn't really see Nate at all today. He had interview after interview  and was busy right up to his concert. Maybe it's a good thing. Maybe a little time apart will be good for them. To be honest, today was kinda fun. It was rainy out but that didn't stop Casey from taking Maggie for little walks throughout the day for me. The rest of the time we stayed inside and took advantage of all the perks of being on the Nate Hollan Tour. And there are some pretty cool perks.

 No, I wasn't able to play table tennis, basketball or even soccer, but there was a full gym set up with an elliptical, treadmill, stationary bike as well as weights. Jonah helped me and we worked out together doing both cardio and weight training together. A good hour and a half workout which helped me feel myself again. We also took advantage of all the free food. Amazing how just months ago, Al was making me meals in the Marriott kitchen to take home and get me through my days when money was tight. Now I'm eating like a king.

Not only that, because Julia and Nate aren't really on good terms, she decided to watch the concert rom the rec room, meaning I didn't have to get dressed up in my bodyguard uniform. Of course, I started to doze off on the couch halfway through watching the concert.

"Hey, James..." I hear Julia's soft voice and feel her rub my back as I wake up. "Hey, wake up."

I look around the room, forgetting where I am for a minute before it clicks.

"Cmon, lets head back to the tour bus to sleep. This room is gonna get really loud with the afterparty." Julia says as I stand up and stretch. I'm still half asleep as Julia guides me out to the Tour Bus. "I'll help you get ready for bed."

I nod and kick off my sneakers once inside and Julia helps me get undressed, then pulls out the trundle bed from under the couch.

"Are you sleeping with me or him?" I ask, still half asleep. Julia stands up straight and turns around to face me. 

"I haven't really talked to Nate much today. I don't know what happened in the middle of the night. I was coming down from the Ativan, that much I know. I don't know... We haven't talked about anything. So I guess I'm sleeping here with you." 

"Good."  I make my move and gaze down at her while tucking her hair behind her ears. I lean down and kiss Julia, then pull her in against my body.

"James..." Julia breaks away for a moment.

"Julia." I murmur softly with a sigh.

"We're not together."

"One more time before you get back together with him. Cuz, you know you're gonna get back together with him.." I rest my forehead on hers with my eyes closed. Please just give me one more time. "I miss you."

"Anyone could walk in here." She looks around but I smirk. Like that has ever stopped us before. I kiss her again and this time, Julia throws her arms up over my shoulders and threads her fingers through the hair on the nape of my neck, pulling gently, turning me on even more. God I've missed Julia. Does she know what she does to me? How she makes me feel?

I watch her pull her top off and throw it off to the side, and then pull down her shorts and step out of them. All without breaking our kiss much. 

Jesus Christ. She's wearing her red lace bra and underwear. If this moment wasn't already perfect... I groan at the sigh of her and feel my dick twitch against her stomach. I may not be fully awake yet but my body sure as hell is.

"You know I'm not gonna be the one to stop, babe." I keep my mouth on hers while I talk, not willing to separate from her. "Julia, I want you so bad."
