When we reach the tree line, I can hear the others laughing about me slapping Jen. "Wait." Kai grabs my wrist.
"What?" I ask confused.
He suddenly leans down and deeply kisses me. "What was that for?" I ask.
"Because I know you wanted it." He smirks then in an instant his face changes into one of annoyance.
"Your kind of a dick did you know that?" I ask.
"Can't you come up with any other insult?" He asks as we step into the clearing.
"No because that's the most accurate word. Dick."
"Can you stop bickering like an old married couple?" Ben whines.
"As if." Kai scoffs.
"Uh excuse you I'd make a bomb ass wife. Right Rylie?" I ask.
"Well I mean, you can't drive, you can't cook."
"You're supposed to be my friend." I pout.
She suddenly stops and stares at me. In a weird way like she knows something. She slowly walks in front of me and leans in close.
"Uh whatcha doing there Rylie?" Ty asks.
"Quiet." She says. She continues to evaluate me. "Okay." She steps back I can't help but give a quick glance to Kai who looks just as confused as I feel.
"Was that some lesbian thing?" Mike asks.
"I'm not a lesbian." She whacks him across the back of the head.
"Sure looked like it." Ben agrees chuckling.
"She is into guys, I know for a fact." I say knowing she was after my brother.
"Boys are stupid." I say glaring at them when they laugh.
"Let's go before we lose brain cells." Rylie pulls me away from them.
Once we are at the lakes edge away from everyone she gets a huge smile. "You kissed!" She whisper yells.
"What? How could you possibly know that?" I ask.
"Your cheeks are kind of rosy, your eyes look a little glazed and your lips are slightly swollen."
"What are you a detective?" I chuckle.
"Don't change the subject. What was it like? I bet he is a great kisser. I mean just look at the hottie." We both look over to see Ty and Kai sitting trying to start a fire.
"It was..something. But you can't tell anyone Rylie. It was a one time thing." I say.
"Mhm sure it was. Also don't think I didn't notice the darker marks on your neck." She laughs when I blush.
"He said it wouldn't be noticeable." I growl.
"I mean it's kind of not noticeable." She says.
"So anything new with you?" I ask.
"Your brother is totally oblivious to my flirting." She huffs.
"He is stupid. But I think you guys would make a cute couple." I say. "I know I'm always saying it's nasty, but I know you and I know Ty and I know you'd never hurt each other intentionally."
