Saving Kai (Book #2)

~Seventeen~

"What are you wearing?"

"Are you depressed?"

"You look goth."

"Are you emo now?"

"That's different."

Those are just a few of the comments I received today about my lovely outfit.

"Damn those are some expensive shoes." Rylie says admiring them.

I look down at them to see they were still clean. "Yeah. I told Kai I'd pay him back."

"Wait Kai? As in Jen's Kai?" She asks frowning.

"Not Jen's Kai that was a misunderstanding. Anyway he is the one to thanks for this lovely outfit." I gesture to myself.

"So Livy, I see your depressed. Maybe you need to go see a therapist, I wouldn't want you to hurt yourself again babe." Fucking Evan.

I clench my jaw. "Just because I'm dressed in dark clothing doesn't mean I'm depressed smart ass." I growl. "And don't you ever mention my past."

"Do you think your new boyfriend would be interested to know you tried to kill yourself because of me?" He smirks.

"Do you really think that's a wise idea? Because I'm sure he will have no problem breaking your nose again."

"Oh babe, you're so pitiful really. You know what you need? A good fuck. How about you come see me later." He winks. He reaches up and puts his hand on my throat.

I stand completely frozen letting him do it. I didn't have the strength to fight him. The sensation caused me to go back in time.

-Flashback-

"Please Evan." I beg as his fingers curl around my neck.

"Oh now you're begging?" He laughs.

All I can do is whimper as he tightens his grip. "I will get what I want, and if I want to fuck you I will." He growls in my ear.

I open my mouth to respond but his grip was too tight.  Black spots appear, just before it's completely black he lets go and air rushes back into my lungs.

-Flashback ends-

"I want the name of the bastard that did that to my daughter now!" I groan. Was that my dad's voice?

"Please just calm down sir." The receptionist says.

"Calm down?! My daughter was fucking choked! I will not stand for this!"

"Cam, honey please calm down." Mom says.

Slowly I open my eyes and realize I'm in the nurses office.

"I'm sorry, we will be pressing charges."

"Mr. And Mrs. Benson. Please step into my office." That was the principal.

"Liv?" That was Ty.

I groan as my throat burns. I mange to peek a glance over at his worried face. "I swear I'll make him regret the day he put hands on you." He whispers. "Kai made sure to knock the fucker out."

"Tyler please come in here." Dad says.

-Kai's P.O.V-

"Are you gay bro? I haven't see you flirt with any girls." Ben asks.

"The fuck? I'm not gay." I reassure him.

"I'm just saying you could have any girl you want and you're just ignoring them all. Unless that's your trick." He says.
