Luke:

"Did you have a good time tonight?" he smiles down at you.

"Yeah, thank you." you smile.

You look at the ground of your front porch. You don't want this night to end, but you know it's late and that you should go back inside. While your three roommates/best friends really like Luke, it he keeps you out too long, they'll go searching for both of you. You feel a hand come up and touch your chin, lifting your face to see him again. You lightly smile as he leans in to you. Your heart begins racing and you just relax your lips and close your eyes as his lips touch yours. He lets his lips linger on yours for a few moments before pulling back and smiling at you.

"See you tomorrow?" he smiles, obviously love drunk.

You're so flustered that you just nod your head and smile like you're high as a kite. He lightly laughs and pulls you into a hug and he can undoubtedly feel your heart racing against his chest. He kisses the top of your head and releases you and walks back to his car.

"Good night!" he says as he opens the door.

"Night!" you smile.

You watch him drive away before you swing the door open.

"HOW WAS THE DATE Y/N?" your roommate, Rachel, says, smiling like crazy.

"It was fun." you smile.

"Did you kiss?" she pokes at you.

You shyly smile and she screams, "MY BABY IS ALL GROWN UP!"

"You're only two years older than me." I laugh.

"Still. I'm happy for you."

the next day

"Hey it's Luke you've reached my voicemail. I'm probably busy right now but you can leave a message."

You throw your phone on your bed and sigh. You hear a light knock at the door and it slowly creaks open.

"Hey y/n." Rachel smiles.

"Hey." you shrug.

"You wanna come downstairs and chill for a while?" she smiles.

You sigh and realize that you need to stop freaking out. After a while of reminiscing about the kiss that night, you started freaking out about how good it was. You know he'd kissed other people, but what if you weren't as good as them? You reach the bottom of the stairs and see Rachel already sitting on the couch. You sit down next to her and throw your phone onto the table. You hear the floor behind you squeak, but having three roommates who each have boyfriends, so there's always a lot of people running around, but for some reason, you feel the need to turn around just this once. Your breath stops when you see Luke standing there. Rachel quietly excuses herself and Luke takes her spot. After a few moments, which seemed like hours to you, he smiles.

"Hey."

"Hi," you shyly respond.

"So..."

"Yeah." you sigh.

"Hey sorry I didn't-"

"It's okay."

"No really, I'm sorry I didn't respond to your calls. I really should have, I just kinda got freaked out."

"About what?"

"Well, Rachel kind of told Calum that I might have been your first kiss."

You lightly sigh.

"I just didn't want to mess up because you only get one first kiss." he sighs.

You look down at your hands as they begin to rub awkwardly against each other.

"I'm really sorry if I did anything wrong." he says, running his hand through his hair.

You take a breath and look back up a second after and you see the look in his eyes. Like a puppy with wide eyes that has just been reprimanded for doing something wrong.

"Hey." you whisper, smirking.

"What?" he says, snapping to look at you.

"You didn't do anything wrong." you smile.

"I... what?" he stutters.

"Luke, you did nothing wrong."

"It's just Calum said that Rachael said it was your first kiss and I just feel bad for taking it."

"I wouldn't have wanted it to be anyone else."

"You sure?"

"Yeah." you smile, leaning over and hugging him. You slowly move your head back and lean in to give him another kiss. He grabs your cheeks in his hands and helps you aim into him. You smile into the kiss and he starts giggling when he realizes and you start laughing as you lean out of the kiss.

"You're cute." he laughs.

"Shut up." you smile and punch his arm.

"Hey!" he says, faking injury, before leaning over and attacking you in tickles.
