Dedicated to my crazy best friend

POV: Glory

"My life is a mess," Queen Glory complained to her bodyguard.

"It may have been before you met me, but-" Deathbringer started, smirking. Glory cut him off by throwing an apple at his head. (I dunno if there are apples in WoF but I just had to...For those of you who are PJO fans like me, you will know what this means. *winks exaggeratedly*)

Deathbringer caught it easily and tossed it back. "Hey, Glory? Did it hurt when you fell?"

"Ugh, lemme guess, from heaven?" she said sarcastically, rolling her eyes.

"No. When you fell for me."

Glory groaned. "EXECUTIONERS!"

"You don't have those. But I doubt you would want to kill such a hot dragon like me." Deathbringer grinned.

"I seriously want to murder you right now," Glory warned.

"You wouldn't dare kill Pyrrhia's best assassin," Deathbringer said, taking out a knife from a pouch around his neck and spinning it in his talons expertly.

Glory sighed, extremely aggravated, and her scales turned from a tranquil green to an angry red.

"Deathbringer, I'm Sirius." (Fourth wall shatters in the distance as HP fans burst into tears)

"No doubt you are."

"As an assassin, how would you murder a dragon you hate with all your heart?" Glory asked.

"Aww, don't be like that Glory," Deathbringer said, feigning hurt. "You know you love me!" He sidled up and pressed his scales against hers, jokingly.

Glory pulled away from the contact, trying to stomp out the bits of pink that were visible on her scales.

"Aww look! You do love me!"

"Will you. Shut. The f***. Up?!"

"Okay fineee. But let's play a game, shall we?"

Glory's emerald eyes flashed in annoyance, but she would do anything to get him to shut up.

"I say something, and you say the first thing that comes into mind. Okay so first, 'cow'."

"Clay."

"Favorite color?"

"Green."

"How's Sunny."

"Annoying."

"The sea?"

"Too blue."

"Willyougooutwithme?"

"Yes. Wait, what?"

Deathbringer grinned. "Yes! You said yes! No taking it back! Meet me here at midnight!"

What have I gotten myself into? Glory thought as she watched the form of Deathbringer fly away, occasionally crashing into trees.

Well, at least that means he likes me. But do I like him back?

Life was confusing. Glory had no idea if she liked or hated the so-called 'best assassin in the world'. But even if she did like him, would they be able to build something permanent? Or would their relationship end up in broken hearts?

I guess there's one way to find out.

(Time skip brought to you by a lazy author. Warning: Overwhelmingly cute fluff in the next part!!!)

"My queen," Deathbringer said exaggeratedly when Glory met him several hours later.

"My king," she replied in the same tone, then realized what she had said. "Nononono I take it back."

The NightWing smirked. "If you say so. My, don't the stars look beautiful tonight?"

"No more cringy pickup lines!"

"Do you know what else is beautiful?"

"I give up."

"You, of course!"

"That is like the most cliche (omg I actually used an essential vocab word! Guys did you see? Mr. Sein? ... Uhhhhhh nvm) thing ever," Glory complained.

"But you love me." It wasn't a question, it was a statement.

Glory sighed, regretting her next words already. "I suppose I do." Her scales turned slightly pink, but in the darkness no one could see...hopefully.

Deathbringer smiled for real this time. "C'mon, Glory. There's something I want to show you."

They flew for a few minutes in awkward silence before Deathbringer headed towards the ground, and Glory followed suit.

What they saw was amazing.

"Wow," Glory breathed, staring at the beautiful sight in front of her.

They were in front of a lake, not a huge one but still breathtaking, shimmering in shades of emerald and teal, reflecting the light of the three moons overhead. The trees above seemed to make a ceiling above the lake, shielding it from the outside.

"Wow indeed," Deathbringer agreed smugly.

"How did I not know about this? It's literally my rainforest."

"It may be yours, but that doesn't mean you have to know everything in it. And you have to agree, it's nice to be surprised once in a while, isn't it?"

"I suppose so," Glory said, leaning subconsciously into the taller NightWing.

"We should bring our dragonets here sometimes," Deathbringer said.

Glory stared at him, and he immediately corrected himself.

"Ugh, I'm sorry it just slipped!"

"It's fine," she smiled. "I'd like that."

Deathbringer smiled slowly. "Yeah, me too."

In the dark, Glory realized that she was falling for the NightWing assassin, falling hard and falling fast. It could hurt, but she was willing to take the risk.

Ahhh I'm sorry I know @chloekim127 said no mushy stuff but I couldn't help it. The cuteness-

Well...at least there were no kisses? That's a start.

But seriously, the cuteness is overwhelming. How can people NOT ship them?!

Okie that was the Glorybringer chapter requested and...Peace out!
