Okay so I'm wavering between Tiana and Dexiana, but I'm leaning towards Tiana. Hence, this chapter. Don't like, don't read.
POV: Biana
"Biana Amberly Vacker," the voice in the ceiling said.
Biana stood up nervously, and Sophie gave her hand a reassuring squeeze.
The names were called in alphabetical order, so Biana was one of the people called first. One of the first to find out why the heck they were in this cramped room, along with the rest of the sixteen-year-olds.
Biana followed the blinking arrows on the floor, which led to a huge room, with a chandelier (Fitz would love that, she thought), red velvet carpeting, and a lot of other extravagant things. It was as fancy as her house, which was saying something.
"Welcome," a soft voice said from behind Biana. She whirled around.
"Councillor Oralie," she said, curstying.
"Today we are here to discuss soulmates," Oralie explained. "May I see your tattoo?"
Biana revealed her wrist. The initials 'T. D. S." were shimmering in its silver-blue glory.
Oralie nodded, her soft blond curls swaying. "What I expected. Miss Vacker, I will not tell you who your soulmate is. That is for you to figure out. However..."
Biana waited anxiously.
"However...I have a hint for you. According to our files, your soulmate is your age, and he goes to your school. Additionally...his hair is black, with silver tips."
Biana gasped out loud. Black hair with silver tips. Her age. T. D. S. Foxfire High.
Sophie was right. Tam Dai Song was her soulmate.

Biana walked out of Councillor Oralie's office in a daze. Sophie glanced at her, tugging on an eyelash.
"Are you okay?"
Of course I am, I literally found my soulmate, who just happens to be my friend's older brother, Biana wanted to say.
"Yeah, I just...need to be alone for a sec."
Biana walked out the building and wandered around for a while, thinking. Was Tam really her soulmate? All the clues pointed to him, and she wasn't oblivious or in denial like Sophie.
Biana bumped into someone and apologized. "Sorry, I wasn't looki-" She cut off, realizing just who she had literally ran into.
Tam looked at her, his silver-blue eyes, the same color as her tattoo, piercing into her. Finally he let out a laugh and shook his silver bangs out of his eyes.
"It's fine, I'm sorry too."
Though Tam was in her friend group, along with Sophie, Linh, her brother Fitz, Dex, and Marella, they hadn't spent much time alone together. Biana had had a secret crush on him for months now.
"Hey, Tam? Can I see your tattoo?" Biana asked, nervously.
"Okay..."
Biana took Tam's wrist, shivering at the physical contact, and her eyes widened as she saw the mark.
B. A. V. was tattooed on the underside of Tam's wrist in beautiful teal letters, in Biana's elegant handwriting.
Her initials. Her eye color.
Biana looked at Tam, unsure what to do now. What, say 'I think I'm your soulmate?'
Thankfully Tam saved her. "What about yours?"
Biana showed him her tattoo, his initials written in his semi-neat handwriting.
"Tam...I think we might be soulmates."
Tam stared at her, then at his wrist, then at her.
"Biana...what's your middle name?"
"Amberly. Biana Amberly Vacker."
Tam blew out a breath and glanced at Biana. His cheeks tinged with pink as teal eyes met blue.
"I guess so."
Biana was disappointed that he didn't sound more excited, but then reminded herself that they were soulmates. It would all work out.
"Hey, wanna go out for dinner?"
Tam stared at her.
"What? We're soulmates."
"I know, it's just...I've never been on a date before," he confessed.
Biana laughed. "Gods Tam, it's fine! Meet me at six at the new Chinese restaurant?"
"Fine."
