Pyrrha tugs on her hood some more, not comfortable hiding.
I set some new boots that I was looking at down. "It's just a precaution. There are plenty of Huntsman and Huntresses who come through here and you are pretty famous in Mistral and Vale. I don't want to show my hand early, especially to the enemy."
My eye's caught something red in a window. "Hey, what about that?" I point out the garment. Pyrrha steps closer to take a look. She looks at it up and down contemplating if it was a good fit or not. "How about we try it on and see."
"Are you sure this fits me?" Pyrrha came out of the dressing room in her new garb and holy cow does she look good. The armor covered the same amount, but It gave her a more free look. Reminding me a bit of a Greek theme, all she needs is a leaf crown.
"Umm Amethyst?"
I jumped. "Oh, right. Yeah It looks good! The fabric seems pretty easy to move around in."
She spins and does a few little fighting moves to get a feel. "It does seem easier than my last set of armor, But I was also used to the weight." She goes back to being shy and holds her arm. "I feel like I'm exposed."
I tap my nose with my finger a few times while observing her outfit. How can we add more weight but also make it versatile. "Oh! I got it." I jump from my seat and head over to the counter. "Excuse me, could I have a sheet of paper and a pen?"
The man nodded and produced one from under the table. "Thank you!"
I come back over to Pyrrha and start sketching. "Okay you said you wanted more weight correct?" I asked, still focused on my drawing.
She hesitates. "Yes," I heard a slight shift before she continued. "And I would prefer arm guards so I'm able to withstand the recoil of my rifle. It chafes my skin if I'm exposed."
I nodded and finished up a few things. "Alright, here." I stood and walked up to Pyrrha and showed her my drawing of her new outfit and extra addons. "We'll have to ask a weapons shop to custom make it, but this should do the trick."
I point to the boots. "These will be made entirely of metal up to your shins. You'll have to wear lining under it so it won't pinch and these," I shifted over to the arm guards she asked for. "I have it all up to the forearm and down to the wrist."
Pyrrha slowly reached for the paper and I let go of my hold. She raised her eyebrows looking over it. "You drew this?"
"Yeah." I furrow my brows in confusion. "Do you not like the adjustments? We can figure something else out if you want." I take a second glance back at the paper wondering what to change.
"No! No. I like it, I really do. It's just, this is really good. You're very talented." She gestures to the drawing.
I hold in a laugh. Was she really that surprised that I could draw? How funny. "Thank you, That's sweet." I take the paper back. "Come on, let's get these ordered."
