I couldn't tell you exactly how I ended up in the world of Remnant. My memories were fuzzy and unable to decipher an explanation. But, I wasn't entirely concerned about how I got there yet.

I started out my journey as a child. Let me tell ya, waking up as a kid again wasn't comforting. At first I thought it was a dream, but everything felt real. Seeing if I was isekaied I wanted to see what I looked like. So I popped my head over to a nearby river. Safe to say that I was a cute kid. I kept my main features but had insane magenta colored hair and green eyes.

I also didn't realize I was on Remnant until I ran into some Grimm in the woods that I woke up in. Talk about horrible luck.

An Ursa stared down at me. Its size of a grizzly bear combined with its skull- like head made a terrifying creature. Two others faced away with their black fur and boney spines. To see a Grimm in reality was a dreadful and scary thing.

My heart dropped and I backed up slowly. I gasped when my foot stepped on a stick enraging the beast, it immediately signaled the other two pointing out their next victim. Given my only choice was to run, I sprinted as fast as my tiny new legs would carry.

Hopping over fallen trees and dashing around trunks. I started to cry, seriously I'm going to die not even 5 minutes after waking up in this place. Before one of the Ursa could swipe at me I heard a swishing of swords.

I turned back to the monsters, finding all three of them on the ground disappearing. A lone man stood in the middle with duel swords out. His long swords remained still for a moment, before sheathing both of them on his back crossing over one another.

"You alright there kiddo?" He asked. Honestly, he reminded me of Kirito from Sword Art Online.

His dark brown hair was tied back in a tiny low pony tail. His outfit consisted of a normal black undershirt and pants. The second layer was a red plaid waist coat and long black jacket. Pretty cool in my point of view, but that doesn't matter.

"Are you a huntsman?" My tiny voice pitched, making me jump. Woah, I'll have to get used to that.

The unknown man came over and kneeled down to my height, wanting to appear smaller in my presence. "Yeah I am. And what is a little kid like you doing so far out into Grimm territory?"

I furrow my borrows. Yeah, what was this kid doing in the woods in the first place. "I-I don't know." I shake my head not recalling any memories. "I can't remember." A typical amnesia story is all I have to work with.

His eyes blinked in revelation before looking to the ground, squinting and frowning. The man glances back at my anxious face. "No parents? Siblings? Guardian? Do you remember where you live?" His tone grows more confused and worried as he questions me. I shook my head no in response.

The huntsman before me sighs in distress. Then stands straight to his normal height.

I perk up, getting an idea. "Mr. teach me how to be a huntsman." Kirito's copy cat immediately raises his hands in a stopping motion. "Woah, woah wait kiddo I ain't got time to take you in. Plus it's a dangerous job, you probably don't even know what being a huntsman means."

Now, I know where I am. This is a perfect opportunity to get strong. I want to save my favorite characters. I go up to the tail end of his jacket and clutch the fabric. I am not giving up on this. I want to help, meet people and save this world.

"To be a huntsman, is to protect humanity to the bitter end." He blinked and stepped back, not of my answer, but the look in my eyes. How could a small little child understand the meaning and weight of the words said, when some huntsman didn't. The man looked around for a moment grunting and weighing options for his answer. He then gave me an unimpressed look.

"You're gonna follow me around until I say yes aren't ya?"

Rapidly nodding my head, he sighs in exhaustion.

"Alright, It will be tough. But, if that's what you're choosing I'll support your endeavor." With that, he allows me to follow him back to his 'base camp' he calls it. But before we could go any further, he turned his head to me. "Oh kiddo, I forgot, what's your name?"

A name. I figure my real name would be cool but, I'm in fantasy land. I could be whomever I wanted. In that case I want to be someone different. RWBY is mainly color coordinated with its characters and purple is my favorite color. "Amethyst." I smile at him.

He hums with acknowledgment. "Amethyst eh. Nice to meet you Amethyst, my name is Henry."
