And Then!

Ya know, I would feel like they don't need me around much with the Atlas Military surrounding the school grounds. Even though they don't actually do crap. They just stand there being all creepy.

I shiver while walking my way to the courtyard of the school. Why? Cause I would like to meet Winter Schnee, the greatest swordswoman and commander of the Atlas military.

PCYCH!

Who would want to meet her! HAHA, no. I'm finally going to reunite with an old Qrow, Plus! The fight between him and Winter is hilarious.

"Ah, Miss Woodsvale." I turned to my right and the joy of watching a fight of a lifetime instantly deflated. There stood Oz, Glynda and Ironwood. Oz and James greeted me with a friendly smile while Glynda looked indifferent.

"Please, walk with us." James waved. I almost whined and stomped like a 3 year old not getting a toy. I don't want to walk with them! I want to watch the fight between Winter and Qrow. I shut my eyes and sigh in defeat grudgingly walking along with them. Aww gee darn it.

Walking with them means I get to see the end of it. I knew I should have walked faster. The main trio walked ahead of me while I purposely lagged behind so I could take my anger out on some rocks.

Silence was golden until The General sparked a conversation with me. "So Amethyst, are you enjoying Vale? Last I heard Henry was settled in Minstrel. It must feel different than what you're used to."

Eh, I actually enjoy Vale more than Mistral. But I've only ever traveled between those two kingdoms so I can't say anything about the others. I would like to go to Managerie someday. The beaches sound great right now.

"I like Vale city wise. Henry and I may have settled in Mistral but we only ever stayed in the woods and camped place to place. We only went into town for supplies or a job."

"Is that right? Well, then I formally invite you to the Kingdom of Atlas when you get the chance."

I raised my eyebrows in surprise when Glynda jumped in. "Hopefully you're not just saying that so you can prove Atlas is better than most Kingdoms, right James?" Dang, get him Glynda.

The General laughs a little. "Haha, Well I do take pride in my city."

Yeah well, all Kingdoms have their problems and I'm not too fond of the cold. "I'm sure I'll make it to Atlas eventually. Thank you for the invitation General."

A commotion in the court yard caught all our attention. General Ironwood frowned at the scene before him. Considering that this top soldier is making a mess. He went ahead of us to take care of his Special Operative. Ozpin, Glynda and I stayed back to allow him to diffuse the situation.

"Schnee!" Ironwood called out.

Winter's sword stopped an inch before skewering Qrow's neck. The 'victim' in question graced a smirk instead of fear of the sword at his throat.

"General Ironwood, Sir!" Winter turned, lowering her weapon and greeted her superior.

"What in the world do you think you're doing?" He questioned, advancing in her direction.

Winter, thinking she could get away with it, put all the blame on a drunkard. "He started the altercation sir."

Qrow with his hands behind his head leaned around her figure. "That's actually not true, she attacked first."

Ironwood gazed at Qrow for a long moment before landing on Winter. "Is that right?"

Winter inhaled horrified that the drunk who enraged her was right. She looked away ashamed of her actions.
