[Y/N POV]

So it was two days later, we did not have such a hectic schedule today just some meetings here and there which was good because both of us needed some rest as we were working all the damn time getting almost no breaks

Today was the last day of our business trip so the schedule was light and our moods were also good

"Today's evening schedule is empty right?" Taehyung asked while we were in the car returning to our hotel.

"Yes sir the evening is completely empty" i said with a big smile, Taehyung chuckled

"Then book a seat at that famous restaurant that we saw earlier I wanna spend the last day eating some fancy food" Taehyung said laying back on the car seat and closing his eyes

"Sure sir sooo a table for one-" i got cut off "no a table for two" he said

Huh? A table for two? Does he want to invite someone else?

"Oh okay then a table for two it is, by the way whom do you wanna invite?" I asked genuinely curious

"Theres this girl that I really like I wanna invite her" he said still closing his eyes but this time having a small smile on his face

My heart sank. It was like the earth stopped rotating, everything just froze. He has a girl he likes?

I mean of course how could I expect him to like me. Just because I liked him? Absolutely not. I am just a normal simple girl coming from a normal family, I am not wealthy at all nor do I earn a lot of money so obviously i won't be a good match for him and why will he even like someone like me?

But still I don't know for what reason it hurt me so much to hear that he has someone he likes, my heart was shattered into pieces I wanted to cry so bad.

"Y/n?" Taehyung's voice bought me back to my senses.

I looked at him, he was already looking at me, I wanted to just dive into those ocean eyes. He was so beautiful I had never seen anyone like before

We were a bit too close such that the gap between our faces was not so much. He had come closer to check on me.

I felt my face become warm due to the sudden closeness, I quickly turned the other way awkwardly. He also shifted to his side.

"Uh-hum" he gave out a fake cough

I was still in my thoughts trying to process everything, it hurt but I had to accept the fact that we did not have any destiny together from the start but some of his behaviours confused me

Suddenly i remembered the accidental kiss we had, did he not feel a thing from that? Then what was that he said before going into the room

FLASHBACK

"thank you for that, I'll have a peaceful sleep", he said as he winked at me and went inside his room

What was that then? Was he just casually saying that? How can he say that so casually without meaning anything?
