the moment i saw zayn malik with harry style's skin tone i knew we had messed up.
countless white fans (especially girls) have been editing their poc idols skin tone since the dark ages. and only recently have been called out on it.
i'm one of the many people who doesn't want a celebrity walking in looking like lupita nyong'o and leaving looking like zendaya.
is there something wrong with having dark skin? hell no!!!
and the worst part is these people will defend their 2011 creations talking about how "they love them" and it's "their edit and they can do what they want".
but i can't even blame all of this on them when magazines do the same damn thing.
poc members of fandoms need to boycott these "light!bright! pictures" ASAP
