Unfamiliar Attraction

Earth is heavy now

Patrick walking to Lloyd instructing him to dig the hole. Patrick shakes his head and walks back next to Lloyd, looking at him he says,

"You know what to do son", tapping Lloyd on the shoulder,

"Yes Father, right now, out back near the tree".

Lloyd starts to run off calling some men. Patrick nods and walks past Randolph into the house, Randolph and the doctor look at each other confused. Patrick walks inside to Margareta and says",

"The doctor does not hold any hope," "I am doing it our way, or we may lose the wee boy."

Margareta nods and grabs Marquis's arm, as she knows he has been too unresponsive, for too long. Patrick walks into the room and picks up Quinn,

Darius is complaining, telling him,

"To put him down".

Patrick turns and replies:

"This is the only way to save him" and "If you love him come with me" "but You may not like what I tell you to do".

Patrick carries Quinn's lifeless body out of the back yard, Margareta follows, they are heading towards the large tree that Lloyd mentioned, Lloyd is in a hole digging deeper. Patrick Jumps in the hole holding Quinn,

Darius yells,

"What are you doing,"

Randolph and Armond run around the back to see Patrick standing in the hole holding Quinn.

Patrick looks up and says,

"If you love this wee boy, get in the hole now,"

Randolph yells,

"No, I won't allow this",

Patrick then looks at Margareta she is removing her outer garments to get into the hole,

Darius looks at Margareta and asks,

"What do I need to do to help Save him?",

Patrick quickly explains,

"He needs to spend 24 hours under the earth for the universe and mother earth to repair him", "He needs to be held by someone that truly loves him" and "willing to have an eternal bond with him". "Is that you Darius!"

Patrick is losing his patience as time is not on their side.

Darius replies

"Yes",

Randolph again objects, Armond steps forward, he has heard of this ritual. But knows nothing of how it works.

Darius turns to his father, telling him,

"He is in love with Quinn", and "he wants to spend his life with him", "if he cannot accept it, then leave". "It is my choice".

Darius Jumps into the hole and quickly lies down, Patrick places Quinn next to him. Darius pulls Quinn into a spooning position, wrapping his arms tightly and holding him close,

Patrick tells Darius,

"We need to cover you over with dirt, remain relaxed, close your eyes and sleep". "We will be here with you for 24 hours then dig you up. I will speak to you throughout this period."

Darius tucks his face into Quinn's lifeless neck, and they start to throw shovels of dirt back into the hole. Darius remains still holding Quinn. Shovels of dirt are hitting Darius and Quinn.

Randolph steps forward and tells Darius that,

"He will be here waiting for him."

Marquis places his hand on Randolph's shoulder to support him. Patrick, Lloyd, Margareta, and the older warriors within Patrick's warrior clan, arranged themselves around the hole and started to chant an old Welsh song.
