And I'm the ocean - often calm but always in chaos
You're the twinkling stars at night
I'm a hopeless romantic staring at you shining- oh I hope I might -

Find you in the midst of the busy crowd
Meet your eyes and you'll hear the sound
It's not the drums that's being so loud
My heart's pounding - I'm proud!

You're the music that makes me stop
I'm someone who adores you from the bottom to the top
You're a jem unknown of its own beauty
I'm a jeweler - I'll keep you worthy

You're the poem and I'm the poet, honey
Look how I separate the words, "You're" from "I" - you see?
You're the fire that I dare not touch
Been bewitched by your glow and warmth - that much

You're the good sign
I am the curse
You're the constellation that align
I am nothing but a messy course

You're not mine
I'm not yours
My mind says it's fine
Yet, the truth is it's worse
