HE'S A BOY

Once upon a time
I meet a boy in Notre Dame
He got eyes that are fears and mysterious
But a gentleman- I can't even say adios

He tells me things that my heart can't forget
Giving my all's the thing I won't regret
His words were like tattoos on my skin
A sculpture that carved in my chest deep within

He's a boy with a bunch of promises
One's to stay true in all crises
Other's to love me with all his heart
Lastly is to never tear me apart

But a boy will always be a boy
Girls we're often treated as their toy
He says he'll never make me cry
He never did- he just made me want to die

I meet that boy in Notre Dame
My bad I was easy to tame- just damn
He caused me pain now we're done
I guess I don't need a boy, I need a man
