Goku nodded, a proud smile crossing his face. "Exactly! You've been so focused on getting your arm back that you haven't realized you're already learning to fight without it."

Yang blinked, the pieces starting to fall into place. She had been so fixated on the idea of needing her prosthetic arm to fight that she hadn't noticed the progress she was making without it.

"So, you mean..." Yang started, a spark of excitement igniting in her chest. "... I've been training this whole time without even realizing it?"

Goku nodded enthusiastically, his demeanor shifting back to his usual cheerful self. "Exactly! You're learning to adapt, to fight with what you have."

Yang stood there, a mix of exhaustion and exhilaration coursing through her veins. She glanced down at her empty sleeve, then back up at Goku, a newfound determination shining in her eyes.

"Alright, Goku. Let's keep going," she said, a small smirk playing on her lips.

Goku grinned, his eyes sparkling with pride and excitement. "Now you're getting it, Yang! Let's see what else you've got!"

With renewed determination, Yang launched herself into the training session with Goku.

After a few hours of relentless pursuit, Yang could feel her fingers brushing against the cool metal of her prosthetic arm once more. This time, she was determined not to let it slip away.

She lunged forward, her hand closing around the prosthetic limb. However, Goku, always quick on his feet, attempted to dodge again.

But this time, Yang was ready.

To Goku's surprise, she adjusted her trajectory, anticipating Goku's movements. Instead of letting go, she held on tight, causing them to lose their balance.

In a flurry of movement, Yang fell forward, the prosthetic arm securely in her grasp. As she fell, she instinctively reached out, her other hand finding its way onto Goku's shoulder.

Their eyes met for a brief moment, a mix of surprise and something unspoken passing between them. The air crackled with a sudden tension as she realized their close proximity.

Yang could feel her heart racing. But not from exhaustion━something else entirely seemed to electrify the air around them. Her gaze locked with Goku's, and for a moment, time seemed to slow.

Goku, being the clueless one he was, was the first to break the silence with a chuckle. "Looks like you finally got it, Yang."

Yang blinked, shaking herself out of the momentary daze. "Y-Yeah, I did," she stammered, cheeks flushing with a mix of embarrassment and something else she couldn't quite place.

As they untangled themselves and got back on their feet, Yang couldn't ignore the warmth that lingered from their brief closeness. She glanced down at the prosthetic arm in her hand, a small smile tugging at her lips.

"I gotta be honest Yang, you have a lot of untapped potential!"

Yang couldn't help but grin at Goku's words, a sense of pride swelling within her chest. Despite the exhaustion that still lingered, she felt a newfound confidence coursing through her veins

"Thanks, Goku," she replied, her eyes filled with gratitude and determination. "I guess this unconventional training helped me see that."

Goku chuckled, giving her a thumbs up. "Hey, sometimes you gotta think outside the box! But now that you've got a hold of that arm, let's see what else you can do."

With a nod of agreement, Yang flexed her fingers around the prosthetic limb, feeling the familiar weight and texture in her grip. "Alright, Goku. What's next?" she asked, ready to take on whatever challenge he had in store for her.

Goku's grin widened, his excitement palpable. "Hmmm... Well, I didn't expect you to get your arm back this quickly...  I thought  it  would take you at  least 3 days!"

Yang couldn't help but chuckle at Goku's surprise. "Guess I'm full of surprises, huh?"

Goku nodded enthusiastically. "Definitely! Alright, I guess we'll move on to the advanced stuff since you're no amateur."

"Advanced stuff, huh? I'm ready for it," Yang said with a determined nod, the adrenaline from her recent victory still coursing through her veins.

"Great. So Yang, you know how you have this hidden power reserve inside you?" Goku's question caught Yang off guard for a moment.

"Do you mean my semblance?"

"No, no, not your semblance," Goku clarified with a shake of his head. "It's something everyone has. And it's something Vegeta and I use all the time. It's called Ki."

"Ki?"

END OF CHAPTER

Whoa! It's been what? 7 months? Sorry I've been gone for so long. I kind of lost interest in writing and prioritized classes and games over it instead. But now I've decided to come back (probably?) I'm going to have to rewatch RWBY to remember what the plot of Volume 5 is, however, like I said in the last chapter from 7 months ago, I'm going to be focusing on Goku and Yang for a while~

Anyway, If you liked this chapter or not feel free to tell me in the comments and I'll see you in the next one!
