I wiped off the side of my car with a towel, watching as it glistened. My heart shook with every half-step I took and I couldn't bear to think about this race for much longer. Ever since the theory of Wooyoung being the murderer came to my head, I've been off. I don't know how much more hesitation I can take until I have to wring Wooyoung dry and ask him if he did it.

"Ji," I heard, my body shooting up to the voice. I turned around to see my beloved boyfriend, holding red gloves. I stared at them for a moment before grabbing them, watching as he itched the nape of his neck after. "I noticed you didn't have any again. This time, I got some that matched your hair."

I widened my eyes, looking down at them again. "Why thank you, Mr. Lee," I smiled, taking a step forward. I circled my arms around his neck and gave him a chaste kiss, grinning wider. I watched his smile rise, kissing me again. "Remember what you promised me?"

"Yes, yes, I know," He groaned. "I know, I'm not going to bring it up or tell anyone about it."

I smiled, patting his cheek. "That's my boy. Do you think I'm right, though? I can't wrap my head around it, but I like to think I'm correct."

"I think you're right based on what you told me," He nodded, hands sitting on my waist. "I don't want you getting close to him anymore, though. Like I said before, Wooyoung's not a force to be meddled with. I think he's stronger than Lee Know, sometimes."

"I'm just worried about what Chaeyoung thinks."

"She received it well that night," Donghyuck shrugged. "All we can wait for now is if she'll ask Wooyoung–if she hasn't already."

"I guess," I muttered, letting him go. "Okay, well, I need to put on my helmet, the race starts in a bit."

"Wait," He grabbed my hand and pulled me closer, grabbing my chin and planting another kiss on my lips. "There. A good luck kiss for myself. See you, Ji."

That little...

I scoffed, lowkey liking it. I touched my lips for a moment, almost finding myself crazy for fanning over him. I got in my car and strapped on my helmet, putting on my gloves. Driving up to the starting line, I noticed everyone was ready. First is Chaeyoung, then Donghyuck, then Mark, then Yeosang, and then Han. I'm destined for sixth place.
