Ethos POV:

"Where do u wanna go? I was thinking about stopping at the mall cause my mom asked me to buy something for her. Is that okay with u?" "Yeah sure! I dont mind." he smiled. He looked so adorab- wait what?!

We arrived at the mall and started going around different shops. It was a lot of fun- we kept joking around. Joel realized he had forgotten his toothbrush so we went to get one but there were only toothbrushes for children. I mocked him about buying one and he kept being sassy. We bought a LOT of snacks. And I even got a small present for Gem as it was her birthday soon..kinda..in 2 months.

It was already starting to get dark and cold by the time we finished shopping. Joel hadnt brought a jacket so I gave him mine. I blushed at the thought of him wearing my clothes. Thankfully the sun was setting so he couldnt see my pink cheeks. We kept talking about random stuff until we got home.

"Soo what should we do now?" he asked as I was walking around my room. "Well I was thinking earlier about how we dont know much about each other and that we should share something about ourselves. Only if u feel comfortable though, I dont wanna pressur-" "GREAT IDEA! U go first" he smiled at me and sat down on my bed.

"Okay well my name is Etho and-" "Woooww, shocker!" he laughed. "Oh shut it. Anyways, I have a younger sister- Gem. My parents divorced when I was little. Thats why I dont see Gem very often..and Im gay andd I really wish I had a pet!" I finished and he started clapping. "Now u"

"Im Joel, the sexiest, tallest, greatest man alive and I have a younger brother whose name is Jimmy. Hes short. I have a lot of friends and everybody likes me." he grinned at me proudly. "Cmon Joel! Do it again but be serious this time." "Alright, alright Im sorry!"

"Im Joel, I have a younger brother Jimmy. We have never been close but I wish we were. I have a cat. Im both into guys and girls but I havent really been in a proper relationship. I have trouble expressing my feelings. Me and my parents..we dont get along well..and they have been arguing a lot lately and well I dont know if-" he said the last few sentences a bit quieter. I could see the tears in his eyes sparkling so I cut him off. "Hey Joel its fine u dont have to continue."

I got closer to him and hugged him tightly. My face flushed red so I turned around and looked at the wall. "Thanks. Please dont mention the thing about my..parents to any of my friends. They dont know and I'd prefer to keep it that way." he put on a sad smile. "Of course. Im glad we now know each other better. Wanna play Minecraft now? U can play on my pc and I'll just watch." I suggest. He agreed.

We played for about 1 hour. My mom called us to eat dinner. "What has ur mom made?" Joel seemed hungry cause he sprinted to the table as soon as mom called. "I think pasta? She went for something basic which almost every person eats. We didnt know if u have any allergies or-" "Wow great! Thank u so much!" he smiled warmly at me.

I sat down next to him. My mom brought us the plates and sat down as well. "So how did u guys meet?" she asked. "Firstly we bumped into each other. Few days later Etho found me in the locker room. I wasnt..feeling well and we started talking. The week after we hung out a lot more at school and we played Minecraft together." Joel explained. "And we played basketball. I always beat him." I added and grinned at my friend.
