Chapter 88- The Pregnancy Camp

" Oh my god Markus this is so lovely, thank you," I said with so much joy as I turned to Markus. He said we were going on a trip and when I asked where he told me it was a surprise, what I didn't expect was for Markus to register us for an expecting parent camp, he left all his work and gave me his time, what more could I ask for.

" I'm glad you like it," He said as he dropped the bags he was carrying and made his way to me.

" I want you to forget about everything that has caused us pain or stress, just think about the two of us, and of course the baby," He said with a chuckle.

" We have a camp instructor and we are going to have fun, but first let's rest we've had a long flight,"

Markus went into the bathroom to get the bath ready while I just settled on the bed watching cartoons.

" The fact that you enjoy watching cartoons makes me smile, our child isn't going to be bored, come on let's go give you a relaxing bath soak," He said as he walked to me and then he carried me bridal style to the bathroom.

He kept me on my feet and helped me to remove my clothes, then he slowly helped me into the bath. He started taking off his clothes and as much as I have seen him naked countless times, I couldn't help but blush whenever he was taking off his clothes in front of me. For God's sake, I was pregnant.

He got into the bath with me and when I looked into his eyes I didn't see anything lust-related, I just saw the need to take care of me.

Markus took one of my feet that was facing him and started massaging it while I just relaxed.

" I've always imagined what having a family would look like," Markus suddenly said, making me open my eyes that were closed in relaxation.

" Now I think I know how it feels, the need to protect you, the need to be near you, I just don't think I want to spend any minute or second of my time without you, thank you for showing me that,"

Markus helped me wash my body and when I wanted to return the favor he didn't let me, not even when I gave him my puppy dog eyes, he told me as long as I was pregnant he wouldn't let me do anything.

" We should start getting ready to go out, we have an introduction ceremony in about fifteen minutes," Markus said as he passed me a cup of orange juice he made by himself, the cabin we were staying in was so lovely, something tells me Markus did an extra with this place, everything in here looks super expensive and carefully selected.

" We can go after I finish this," I said, raising the glass of juice I was holding. We got ready and both made our way to the location for the first meeting.

This reminded me of the event I went to with Hardin only it wasn't a camping trip, we did an introduction of ourselves and almost all the women here were having their first baby.

" Now that we've introduced ourselves, let's get to the business of why we're here," The instructor said with a smile on her face.

" There are going to be games, lots and lots of fun, you all are going to be learning about what it takes to be parents, bonding exercises and so much more, but right now guess what we're going to do?" The room was quiet waiting for what she was going to say.

" Okay, okay I'll just go ahead and tell you, I want you all to switch partners, we have about ten couples here," As soon as she said that everyone started murmuring.

" Why would she say that?" Markus asked, not sounding pleased with the suggestion.

" Calm down everyone, calm down, I'm not doing this to separate you from your partners, I just want you to interact with other expecting parents so they can tell you how their pregnancy journey has been, you might learn one or two, we're here to have fun and also learn." That didn't sound like a bad idea but from Markus' face, he still didn't like the idea.

" Come on Markus, it's not like anyone is taking me away, it's just for fun, and to learn like she just said,"

" But I don't like it," Markus said with a frown as my hand went to his cheeks trying to force a smile on his face.

" In front of you, there's an envelope containing the number of the couples you'll be switching with," The instructor said and when I looked at the table in front of me I saw the envelope, I opened it and there was a number seven.

" Start switching guys, and have fun,"

" Number seven!" I heard a lady call and I raised my hand waving her over.

" Hi," I greeted.

" Hello, I'm Gina, nice to meet you," The lady said with so much excitement, I couldn't blame her expecting a child could do that to you.

" Hi, I'm Mark," Her partner said as he brought his hand to Markus for a handshake.

" Markus,"

" Wow what a coincidence, Mark and Markus, So guys let's switch now, this is going to be fun, we're expected to take a walk or something,"

" Don't stress yourself too much okay," Markus said as he kissed me on the head and the couple in front of us gushed and I couldn't help but blush.

" Please take care of her," Markus said as he went to stand beside the lady while her partner came to stand beside me.

" You too take care of her, and so you know, she can be so much trouble," Her partner Mark said as we all chuckled.

" See you later," I said to them as Mark and I walked off.

" Where would you like to go?" Mark asked.

" Well anywhere with fresh air,"

" So tell me about what having a pregnant woman for you feels like?" I asked.

" Well most of the time I think she just annoys me on purpose," Mark said and I chuckled.

" She's like I want this, I want that, no I don't want this anymore make me that, it's so annoying sometimes," I couldn't help but laugh, it was so cute to watch his reaction.

" Are you trying to call us troublesome?" I jokingly asked Mark.

" No, no way, do I look like I want to die?" Mark said as we both settled down on a bench under a tree and the breeze there was calming as I breathed in the fresh air.

" So when did you guys get married?"  I asked.

" Well, the thing is that we're not a couple, she's actually my sister,"
