Chapter 47: Orochimaru vs Kato Dan

"This is... combined ninjutsu!"

The crowd erupted in awe. Hiyan displayed superb chakra control.

"This kid is quite talented," Sarutobi whispered.

"But it's not enough; it's just flashy. It won't be enough to stop Tsunade," Orochimaru remarked. In fact, Uchiha's Sharingan had a function of enhancing mental power, allowing for better control of ninjutsu and increased resistance to genjutsu, making it quite formidable.

"Here I come!" Tsunade burst out of the mist, her chakra skyrocketing. Her golden hair flowed freely, and her power surpassed even Hiyan's!

"Strength of a Hundred Seal: Force Fist!" Tsunade concentrated all her strength in her fist and delivered a devastating punch that cracked the ground, creating a deep gully.

"Crack—!"

The gully expanded, and all of Hiyan's combined ninjutsu was sucked into it, as if a giant mouth devoured the fiery mud, unraveling the entire combination ninjutsu in a single move!

"Alright!" Tobirama couldn't help but exclaim, seeing a glimpse of his Big Brother's indomitable momentum in Tsunade's battle!

"What?!" Panicked, Hiyan saw Tsunade already leaping high and descending upon him.

"Heavenly Foot of Pain!"

"Boom!" Dust filled the air as the ground shook, undoubtedly creating a pit!

Embarrassed, Hiyan was propelled into the air and pelted by gravel like a shotgun, sustaining multiple wounds. Before he could land, Tsunade emerged from the smoke behind him and punched him!

"Earth Style: Mud Golem!"

Hiyan used the technique in a desperate attempt. With all his strength, he unleashed a fireball jutsu!

"She won." Orochimaru turned around and sat down.

"Bang!" Tsunade's clone was engulfed by the flames and turned to smoke, while the real Tsunade dashed out of the smoke from behind!

"Boom!"

This time, Hiyan was knocked down by a punch without any chance of retaliation.

"I still can't figure her out...!" Hiyan was carried away reluctantly, and all Uchiha participants were defeated.

Tsunade had grown stronger, and Orochimaru gazed at the victorious Tsunade with a hint of admiration in his eyes.

"The next match, Orochimaru vs. Kato Dan!"

"Get ready—!!"

Staggering, Orochimaru felt as if countless alpacas were dancing in his heart, observing Tsunade's expression change like watching a dramatic play.

Should he defeat Kato Dan or just beat him up? Well, destiny has already decided!

If Kato Dan hadn't provoked Orochimaru, he would never have initiated trouble even if he didn't like him. He would have silently waited for him to meet his fate in the plot. Impressive foundation; definitely Chunin-level powerhouse. Orochimaru was a little surprised. It seemed that ninjas of this era matured quite early!

Dan Kato landed gracefully, causing a group of young fans to cheer.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!"

As expected, ninjutsu is his weakness.

Watching the fireball slowly approaching, Orochimaru grinned with bloodthirsty excitement. When you beat up someone for the first time, you must take it seriously!

Orochimaru protected his body with both hands and charged towards the fireball!

"This guy is crazy!" someone exclaimed.

"Bang!" The fireball exploded, and before most people could react, Orochimaru had already emerged from the flames!

"This kid!" Sarutobi slapped his forehead in frustration.

Orochimaru's sleeves were gone, and a large portion of his white clothes turned black. His hair was slightly curled, but under the clothes, his white skin was exposed, almost like metal, without any noticeable scars!

"It really hurt!" Orochimaru scolded himself secretly. Pretending to be forceful came with a price, but he was fast enough to escape the flames before the audience could react.

"He forced his way through fire?!"

"What?!" Kato Dan was startled to see Orochimaru, who looked like a demon with disheveled hair!

"Sh*t!"

Orochimaru sneered excitedly, punching Kato Dan's chest, interrupting his ninjutsu. Then, he delivered a leg kick like a split, sending Kato Dan soaring into the air.

Orochimaru punched and kicked Kato Dan. Every strike involved swift movements, making the fight quite smooth!

"Bang!" Kato Dan, resembling a sandbag, fell onto the ground like a lifeless dog.

Phew! So satisfying! Orochimaru marveled at the joy of beating up his opponent!

In truth, Orochimaru held back in his attack; otherwise, Kato Dan wouldn't have survived the beating, and he would have been seriously injured from the first punch.

"Wait!" Just as the referee was about to announce the winner, Kato Dan actually stood up again... It was too light...

"Ahem... How can you treat your comrades this way? Why is your heart so dark!" Kato Dan trembled but stood upright, speaking righteously. It had to be said; he managed to maintain a graceful image despite the embarrassing situation!

Orochimaru faced Kato Dan, feeling disgusted. He quickly formed hand seals for a peculiar jutsu. A small, pale flame appeared in Orochimaru's palm as he approached calmly.

Kato Dan screamed loudly as the seemingly inconspicuous flame rapidly spread, consuming his potent spiritual force, turning it into fuel, and burning him!

"Orochimaru seems quite irritable?"

Tobirama couldn't perceive the invisible spiritual power, but he sensed something. Orochimaru rarely targeted a single person, but this time he seemed ruthless?

"I'm going to be...!" Dan Kato couldn't maintain his grace and finally fainted.

The arena fell silent. Orochimaru didn't inflict severe damage. Kato Dan suffered primarily mental harm. The audience perceived it as a powerful ninjutsu and began applauding.

"Orochimaru wins!"

Orochimaru turned around and left without looking back.
