Today, I dreamt of my own past instead of the Duke's like usual.

'But why did it have to be that memory out of all the shit I could dream of...?'

"............,"

"Si-Yeon, Si-Yeon! Where are you, dummy!?"

I repeatedly called out for my twin sister, but received no answer in response.

Despite my increasingly loud voice, she remained out of sight.

The senior students around me began to give me disapproving looks, and even one of the useless bullies approached me.

"Why are you looking for that pussy? It's obvious she abandoned you-didn't she?"

The bully sneered, probably not realizing my identity. After all, I made quite some name for myself just being a freshman.

I saw red.

Before I could think twice, I punched him squarely in the gut, sending him flying into a nearby trash bin with a loud thump.

Landing beside him, I glared at everyone else gathered around us.

"Anyone else wants some?"

My voice was dangerously calm, chillingly quiet.

"'Fucking loser!"

The bully muttered in Korean, spitting on the ground beside me.

"What's wrong with him? Did he pass out?"

Another classmate who just arrived commented.

Ignoring them, I continued searching the empty hallway, worried sick about where Si-Yeon might have gone.

Without warning, a pair of strong arms wrapped around me from behind, sending waves of panic running through me.

I yelped in surprise before jerking away violently, turning around to see Do-Hwa Baek, one of my few close friends since childhood, standing there, as I took a few steps backward frowning deeply.

"What the hell, man?"

I snapped, crossing my arms defensively.

"Don't fucking scare me like that!"

Do-Hwa rolled his eyes, his normally blonde hair slightly dampened from showering earlier.

"Relax, calm down, alright?"

He said, raising his hands placatingly.

"I heard you yelling your sister's name and figured something was wrong."

"Oh, great, thanks,"

I muttered sarcastically, running a hand through my messy hair.

"She just left the class at some point when I wasn't looking. I've been searching everywhere for her."
