CLARE'S POV
It's been a few days since seeing Al, and yet I still don't know what to do. I mentioned some of it to Ed, but he's still trying to figure it out too.
Me: Why couldn't this be easier?
???: Because that's life for yeah.
I turn to see Ally and her boyfriend.
Me: Hey guys.
Ally looks to me before looking over to her boyfriend.
Ally: This is Chris, he's a fellow alchemist like you.
Me: And your boyfriend I'm assuming?
She nods.
Chris: The one and only.
He smiles and pats Ally's head.
Ally: Hey! Don't do that!
He lightly laughs before kissing the top of her head. He seems like a sweet guy.
Ally: So... Whatcha up to?
Me: Just finished my jobs for today, why?
Ally: Wanna go on a little trip?
Me: Trip?
Chris: More like we were all assigned to do something 'trip'.
Me: Wait what is it?
Ally: Some kind of creature is lurking about in town and is hurting people. We were all sent out to find it and capture it.
Me: Alive or dead?
Chris: I don't think it really matters, but alive is usually preferred.
Me: I see.
Ally: So do you wanna come?
Ed was suppose to call me again tonight for any ideas for Al's situation... Shit what do I do?
Me: Uhh I guess. Do you think we'll be back before tonight?
Ally: We hope to be. But you can never really know with any mission right?
Me: Fair enough. Okay let's get going!
I bolt for the front door with Chris laughing along with Ally.
Ally: Guess she's pumped.
Chris: Apparently.
I open the doors for a mouth full of snow. I cough a few times to feel someone pat my back.
Chris: Don't die yet, we haven't even started the mission yet.
Ally giggles and passes by me.
Ally: Come on slow poke, let's go.
We all exit to soon see all her other friends.
Me: Are they coming as well?
Ally: Mmhm.
Dan: Ally you brought the pretty chick!
Ally sighs and turns to me.
Ally: Sorry about him.
Me: Haha don't worry about it.
I walk up to Dan and flicked him on the forehead.
Me: Thanks for the compliment, but I have a boyfriend. If he heard you, he'd probably kill you.
Dan: Who's your boyfriend anyway? Could he be that badass FullMetal guy back in Central?
Me: Actually yes, yes he is? Something wrong with that?
