Then you came along and made me laugh in glee.
You were the one I needed in life,
The smooshy butter who tolerated the knife.
The sweet girl who makes my day better with her evil laugh,
Is the same one who remains as my better half.
When unimaginable thoughts popped and fried my brain,
It was the thought of you that pulled me out of it like a crane.
It's times like these that make me appreciate you,
For you were the shining diamond in view.
