[Republished] I tried writing everything's that's on my mind here and reveal my true self to the world, because that was something that's too hard for me to do. Here, I am trying to show you my story and maybe try to help other people who are like me. Sometimes I want to unpublish this book because I feel like I show too much of myself here; so much that I feel so embarrassed and vulnerable. I've never had mustered up enough courage to talk about my feelings, opinions and problems to other people no matter how close they are to me. This is a wonder of writing I guess, you can fully take off your mask without feeling too vulnerable to show a raw, bare, unfiltered and true version of yourself. ❛❛Memories and Melodies, stories that sound absurd. Until they met each other as they formed an undying love for each other. When a loved one dies, grief and sorrow immediately follows afterwards, but the world doesn't stop for your suffering and so...life moves on. However, it can be hard to move on with life when you're a vampire who has had the blame and hatred of seven other siblings dumped on you for a choice that would benefit all; simply because you were the eldest and most responsible. Nonetheless, this story doesn't start with our eldest vampire. Our story begins with a girl with long caramel colored hair, deep chocolate brown eyes, and a smile that seems to brighten the spirits of anyone who sees it; human or not. She was a girl that harbored seventeen years of age and she lived as normal a life as a seventeen year old girl could. Her name? Mayu. Surname? That's a mystery to Mayu herself. Many memories of her parents dying in some horrible accident occurred in the girl's mind yet no matter how much she thought about it, nothing seemed to quite fit right with her. So, never truly knowing her parents fate or current whereabouts, the young woman lived alone in her apartment complex just next door from her best friend Mahiru Shiroto. However, one day Mahiru takes in a small, homeless, black cat and names it Kuro. Mayu begins to take quite a liking to Kuro and, though she felt deeply bad about it, takes Kuro into her own possession as a cute and cuddly roommate of sorts. But how can one take a cat into their possession and not expect anything to go wrong...? Life. Webster's defines it as "the quality that distinguishes a vital and functional being from a dead body." But what if on the inside your dead? What if living on a day to day basis killed you?
