Chapter-14 Falling?

Amie

We were looking for amna when my phone rang. It was amna i immediately picked up she said that they were lost their way back but now she's in the tent. I told mahir and then we got out finally.

"You should go and sleep now... Good night" Mahir said.
"Yep good night" I said with a smile.

I went inside the tent and saw amna awake and she asked me where i was I told her everything happened between me and mahir.

She already know that i like him and she want me too confess. I like him but i don't know what he thinks about me. I don't think he likes me, he just considers me a friend, no, I can't confess my feelings.

Next day

"Amiee..!! amie!! Uth ja!!!" Someone trying to wake me up. Huh! Mom hi hongi aur kon ho sakta hai.
Hiding my face I lifted my blanket over my face "five minutes mom."

"Mom?! I'm amna idiot bhul gayi hum tent main hai ghar pe nahi uth ja!!"

"Hein!? I lowered my blanket a little bit and looked at her for a while and then oh haa! i face palmed myself.

Then I got up and sat down. It takes me a while to come to my senses after getting up.

Hosh main aane ke baad- I got ready, I am wearing a blue turtle neck full sleeve top tucked in my jeans. I tied my hair in a ponytail.

We all gathered around as professor rahul was announcing.
"Good morning all, so students you all will be doing fun activity which is called treasure hunting, I have hide flags here and there, you all have to find them in the woods but don't go more dense in the woods. This also has to be done individually whoever has more flags will win and will be awarded with a prize, all the best everyone."
The hustle started as everyone got excited.

I looked infront to see mahir and so did he at the same time he gazed at my whole face i looked away and gulped.

"I'm sure I'll win" Amna said gigling.
"Sapne main na" I heard anurag saying with a chuckle.

We wished each other good luck and everyone started searching. I started searching for flags and i found one below a tree hidden at the bottom. I took that flag grinning to myself and started looking for more.

There were students everywhere searching flags. I found 3 flags by now. Hehe... Oh i found one more as i gazed at a huge tree which had well defined crown and flag was hung on its branch.

I stood on my toes and tried to catch the flag, but failed because it was high. I jumped but I still couldn't reach there. I sighed.

Suddenly I felt a presence behind me and something hard touched my back. As soon as the familiar rich woody scent invaded my senses, I knew who it was.
His hand came from behind me and went up straight towards the flag. I slowly turned my head back to see mahir standing behind. He was looking up trying to clasp the flag i couldn't help but stare at his handsome face.

"Got it " He waved flag a little showing me with a wide smile.

"Thank you" I said smiling.

"How many flags you got?" He asked

"3...and now 4" I said pointing at the flag he was holding.

"Okay... Make sure you don't cross the safe zone" He said stretching his arm forward and gave me the flag.

"Yes!" I said blushing.

What the fuck am I blushing? He is just telling me not to cross the safe zone.

I searched for more flags but they were nowhere to be seen. It was almost evening now and it was time for the game to end.

Almost everyone came back and the winner was being announced.

Mahir

"You know guys when I was kid, with my parents I went on a similar trip and my parents were sleeping. I felt like someone was calling me, I was very scared, still I went towards the voice aur jo maine dekha na.... " Anurag was telling his bhootiya experience.

"Bas bas... Aage mat bol darr lag raha hai hum bhi toh jungle main hai! " Amna spoke in middle.

"Tum dono bahot fhatuu ho yaar" Amie chuckled.

Look who's saying!!

She suddenly glanced at me and her smile disappeared, she must have also remembered how she had run away in fear yesterday.

It was dark now and we were seated around bonfire sharing stories. Don't ask me why I am here they forced me to sit I don't mind waise Amie hai toh!

"Anurag you continue please"amna spoke.

" Yah, so I saw a woman in pink cloth"

Pink!? Im trying hard to control my laugh.

"What pink!? Bhooth toh white main hote hai na" Amie asked looking at anurag.
Her expressions are hilarious.

"Yaar hogi vo alag type ki bhoot chup reh tu!!" Amna said smacking amie's shoulder.

"No way! I don't believe it!" I chuckled.

Everyone glared at me like maine kya hi bol diya?!

"Anurag you continue" Amie said with curiosity.

"And She had hair all over her face and she was walking towards the woods, I stood there watching her and then she disappeared." Anurag said completing his story.

What nonsense!

"Bass? Itna hi!?" Amna said.

"Tune toh bhootni ko bhi nahi choda usko bhi taad raha tha!" Amie chuckled.

"No!!" Anurag spoke defending himself.

I'm sitting here only because of amie Otherwise I can't listen to these nonsense stories.

She looks cute when she smiles but she looks even cuter when she's scared I laughed internally watching her.

I don't know what's happening with me but all i can say is, she is the one i think about all the time. She's the voice i want to hear, she's the face i hope to see, she's the only one with whom i never get bored.
