"Hey amie, do you remember me or not? " mahir asks.
I felt his voice in my stomach. I was too stunned, trying my best to speak.
"Umm, hmm" I nod.
He smiled. What- hmm? It was kinda rude reply amie you stupid ughh!!! But i couldn't voice out. I was lost in my thoughts-
"Amie kaha kho gayi pagal" bhai asked.
"Uh, kuch nahi bhai."
Mom and dad escorted mahir and his parents to their room.

I'm lying on the bed in my room thinking about what happened to my extrovert ass today. Why I was dumbstruck in front of him?? I never shy in front of anyone fhir mahir ke saamne kyu kyun???
Knock knock!! A sudden knock on the door caught my attention bhai came in. "Come downstairs for lunch. "
"Okay, coming" I said. I took my phone and went downstairs, i glimpse that everyone was seated already on dining except mahir.
I saw my parents engaged in conversation with mahir's parents. And my bhai as always busy in his phone.
As I walked in greeting everyone and took my seat. I secretly asked my brother where is mahir?
"I told him, might be coming" he said.
My whole body stiffens when i saw him.
"Helloo" mahir said to us with a gentle smile on his lips,
"come sit beta(son)" my dad said. He has changed his clothes and is wearing a dark blue t-shirt and white pants. He sat on empty chair in front of me, next to uncle.
Every colour suits him i said (offcourse in my mind) with a chuckle.
"What happened Amie why are you smiling?" bhai asked.
Are yaar isne kab dekh liya!!! Ughh! Everyone's gaze are on me.
"Uh...um..aise hi kuch nahi." I said nervously.
"Areh, kya tum mahir ko dekh ke smile kar rhi ho kya haan??" He said teasingly.
Ohh God!!! This is so embarrassing!! "Dad tell him not to tease me." I said dramatically.
Aunty and my mom are chuckling. "Ritik stop teasing my lovely daughter."
"I am not teasing dad she was really"- "Shut up!! bhai" i said and gave him a glare.
I can feel mahir's eyes on me but I can't even make eye contact with him. He is sitting in front of me, I gathered courage and finally looked at him hehehe!!!
We made eye contact!!!!!! (A little happy dance in my mind.) He smiled at me. Seeing him smiling at me, my heart skipped a beat as I somehow smiled back.
We all started eating, suddenly uncle caught our attention after we heard his voice
"Amie what are you studying?" Uncle asked.
Arehh yaarr! I'm nervous already and uncle asked me this! Now everyone's gaze is on me again waiting for me to answer.
"I'm in my final year of graduation" I said. "Ohh nice" Uncle said with a smile.
After some time we finished eating. Papa said "You must be tired go and take some rest" to uncle. "Yes will talk later.”
Well, mahir is still here i guess he will go to his room too. His room is next to mine, I know it is impossible we are going to meet but yeah still.
I am going to my room to avoid any encounter with him atleast now. I rose from my seat and went towards the stairs.
I was about to go up when someone grabbed my hand from behind and i turned to only find mahir.
WHAT!! My soul left my body.
