1 :Setting the Stage: 1-16

Start from the beginning

"N-Not that there is anything wrong with your choice of weapons." Her ears bent down. "Just different is all."

Aww she's so CUTE! I want to take her home! But I can't. I doubt that Yatsuashi would like that. I grin. "No problem at all. I just didn't think that they were unusual to the eye."

Coco pushed up her glasses and shifted to lean on her left side. "Even so, if you're head of security and you choose a weapon like that, I'd like to think you're a formidable huntress."

Score! Coco is commenting on my skills, and she finds me capable. Feels nice being respected by these kids. I mean they are better than most huntsmen, and they are still in school.

Velvet jumped again. "Oh! We didn't introduce ourselves. I'm Velvet, and this is Coco." She gestures to her friend with a grin.

Nodding a reply. "My name is Amethyst Woodsvale. Nice to meet you both."

BEEP! BEEP! I tug my scroll out of my back pocket and check the time. Oh crap, I should be at the entrance ceremony by now.

"Sounds like you should get going. It was nice meeting you, Miss Woodsvale." Coco turned to leave. Velvet smiled and waved goodbye following her. Soon after they turned around, I booked it.

I reached the auditorium a few minutes late. I could already feel Glinda's glare as I slid to the side as Ozpin continued picking teams for the students.

"Without further ado, I'd like to introduce you to a new representative of Beacon."
Ozpin pivoted to his left, where I stood on the side lines. Uuuuhhhh me? Do I have to go up there? Ozpin answered my questions when he reached out his hand to me.
Reluctantly following along stepping up on stage. Darn it, why do I have to be up here?

"I'd like to introduce you to our new head of security at Beacon. Miss Amethyst Woodsvale." I straightened my back and bowed to the students who were staring at me and those who couldn't care less. I left the stage after that and headed back to my station next to Glynda.

"Miss. Woodsvale is here to keep you safe as well as to keep the riff raff to a minimum. Please do not hesitate to ask for help if any teachers are unable to do so."

Once the ceremony was over the students were free to socialize till curfew. I had been eyeing team RWBY for a bit, as well as JNPR. Although it probably wasn't stealthy enough, Pyrrha was giving me a suspicious look.

Huffing my chest to fill me up with courage I walked over to team RBWY first. "Congratulation's on becoming leader Miss Rose."

Yang hugged her sister to the side, crushing her. "Isn't my baby sister the BEST!" Ruby started flailing around, "Yang, yang, yang can't breeeeeath."

Yang dropped her and put a fist on her side.

Weiss stuck a hip out and gave a judgmental look. "Head of security? In a school full of training huntsmen I don't think we need protection."

"It's actually to keep delinquents in line and not sneak out after hours." I rebutted.

Ruby giggles in her hand muttering "delinquents". Ruby then looks down by my waist to where my hand was resting on the hilt of my left sword. I think her eyes turned into hearts.

"Oh! Those look so cool! Can I SEEEEEEE?" She ran up to my hips invading my personal space, going back and forth looking at my weapons without touching them.

Yang grabbed her sister by the scruff of her hood yanking her away. "Whoa there! Sorry, she can get excited." She apologizes.

I try to keep a laugh in. "No problem, I'm not able to pull them out, but my swords are handcrafted and tempered to handle dust changes inside the sheath."
