He opens the door, and gives me his hand. I take it and he walk inside, "Welcome home", he says placing his hand on my waist.

"This is all the things you need are in the closet and bathroom", I furrow my eyebrows at his words, "Get ready".
He leaves me in the room and I look at him leave, closing the door behind. I look around the elegant room.
Even if I work my whole life, I can never afford even this room al least. I walk to the walk-in closet and see a dress kept on the vanity.
I caress the dress in my hands, I am scared I might pull a string. It looks so expensive, probably costs more than I borrowed him.

I run my hands on the sides, it was revealing, and I felt exposed, I am kind of glad I worked out so my stomach looks toned.
I let my hair down and comb it, I take the clear claw slip and do a French twist, and clip my hair. I let my curtain bangs rest on the sides of my face.
I tie the straps behind my back, I apply light make up using the make up set that was kept on the dressing table.
I finish by applying the red lipstick on my lips and I hear a knock as I continue to admire the dress.
"Come in", I say and I hear footsteps, I look up and see Lorenzo coming with two boxes in his hand, on small and thin while the other is big.
"White is definitely your color", he says looking at me top to bottom, "I knew it when I saw you in that dress for the first time".
"You look gorgeous", he pecks my lips, I lean and wipe the lipstick that was on his lips, "Thank you", I say.
"I got this specially made for you", he places the thin box on the vanity and opens the big one. My eyes widen when I see it.

I gasp as I look at the beautiful pair of heels, "It – it's so pretty", I say and touch the butterfly wings lightly, scared I might damage it.
He takes the heels in his hands and kneels down placing them on the floor. He takes my ankles and helps me wear them.
He buckles them and stands on his feet. I look at them unable to take my eyes off them, they look so pretty!
"Thank you so much!", I hug him as tears fill my eyes, "The dress -", I break the hug, "the heels, the surprise", I peck his lips.
"This is the best birthday ever", I say and he holds me, placing his hands on my waist and caressing my bare skin with his thumb.
"Wait -", I stop, "How did you know?", I ask him, tilting my head to the side.
"I did a background check", he says, "That's how I knew", he answers and I nod, obvious why he would do that.
"Okay, here's the other one", he says taking the thin box, he opens it and takes a necklace out, my eyes widen.

He walks behind me as I stay in shock and put the cold necklace on my neck, he clasps it behind and kisses my neck.
He turns me so that we both face the mirror, in the dressing table, "Principessa", he whispers and kisses my neck once again. (Princess)
"Lorenzo", I touch the necklace and look at his reflection, my fingertips touch the red heart, it's a ruby and I notice the diamonds around it.
"I saw this and remembered your lips", he says looks at the red heart, "You wore red ruby lipstick on our first date".
"Lorenzo", I turn around, "This is too much", I move my hands to remove the necklace but he holds my wrists and pulls them down.
"It's my gift, principessa", he says, "Just take it", he says and touches the ruby and places it in the center of my chest.
"It's perfect", he smiles, "Made for you", he says but I couldn't accept something so expensive, the dress and shoes itself was too much.
"But -", he places his index finger in my lips, stopping me.
"Let's go we are getting late for our date", he pulls me out of the room.
