Minji scrolled through the articles sub-conciously, eyes raking over the content as she swiped the trackpad connected to her laptop.

"Earth to Minji. Why am I the one doing the assignment this time?" Changmin huffed, waving his hands in front of his best friend to catch her attention.

"Shit- sorry." She quickly apologised, switching her tabs hastily before continuing to type on the device.

"How's Jeonghan?" The Cho teasingly inquired, wiggling his eyebrows in all sorts of directions.

"Oh, shut up." She sighed, sinking back into her seat of the cafe, a frown plastered on her lips.

"Why? What's wrong? Did he do something to you?" The male transformed his mood to a rather concerned and protective one. "Oh, I'm gonna kill that-"

The Choi laughed at her best friend's behaviour, taking a sip of the fruity ade on the coffee table. "No, I think I was the one that did something." Her mind thought back to the night from a few days ago, where she kissed a man who was about to get married. "Ah shit, why was I so stupid?"

"Oh- you always do something." Changmin tsk-ed, refocusing his attention back onto the laptop.

Minji knew that it wasn't right, she even tried to prevent him from doing so. But instead, she was the one that initiated. Her thoughts tracked to Junghwa's favour, wanting the best for her family. Maybe this is concluding her feelings for him?

The group of friends collectively enjoyed their foot volleyball match, eyes concentrated on the ball that was repetitively kicked from each side of the court.

Although the winters of Seoul were nearing, they were still sweating underneath their clothes. Wonwoo distributed the bottles of water to each of his friends, all of them thanking him in return.

Taking a break, they sat in a circular position on the grounds of the empty court, their heavy breaths mixing in with their laughters.

"Well, I think I'm gonna lose the competition." Chan brought up, his mouth in a slight pout as he traced the bumpy, concrete flooring with his finger.

"Why? What?" His friends immediately widened their eyes at the youngest, curiosity dancing in the numerous pairs of orbs.

"It didn't end well. Apparently she never saw me in that way." The Lee informed, making the others sigh for him. It was glum to see their friends hurt by someone they once liked or loved. "Well, it's okay. What about you guys?"

"Cheol has been talking to someone." Jeonghan chuckled, preparing to be physically attacked by his best friend but raising his forearms in front of his laughing head.

"So what!" The Choi scolded, hitting him playfully with his hand. "What about you?" He fought back.

"I'm getting married." The Yoon deadpanned in the most disappointing way ever.

All his friends understood his situation. In fact, they basically despised Soojin. They knew the ridiculous methods that the Jang would take for own benefit and believed that Jeonghan deserved someone better.

"Moving on!" Dokyeom interrupted the tense atmosphere. "I heard Wonwoo has a girl!"

The mentioned male choked on his water, Seungkwan patted his back as a laugh slipped from his mouth. "No, I don't. She's just someone I like-"

"You like?"

Jeonghan's voice made everyone divert their attention to the two, noticing that they were holding deep eye contact.

"Anyways!" Soonyoung clapped his hands together, awkwardly giggling and motioned for the rest of them to laugh with him.
