"Took you two long enough. Y'all snuck a quickie or something?" Vanessa teased.
"Almost." I mumbled as we entered.
Daniel nudged me as he started laughing. At first, we were segregated. The girls were in one room, and the boys were in another.
"Alright, E, tell us everything." Syd grinned.
"Okay, so first when I got in his car, it was all silent and awkward. Then we found out we both loved singing. I showed him a video of me singing, and he was kinda, like, harmonizing with it. That shit was so hot. Then at the restaurant, we couldn't decide what to order, so we ordered practically everything. You're welcome, by the way, 'cause we're the ones who brought that food downstairs. Anyway, I got a wrap and tater tots, he got a cheeseburger and fries, and we split it, so we both had the same thing, it was so cute. Then we came here to bring the food, then we went to the park. We sang together. It was amazing. Then we were about to kiss, and guess what the fuck happened?" I started.
"He tried to fuck you?" Jayla asked.
"No!" I giggled.
"A bird attacked y'all?" Aya grinned.
"You know what lemme just tell y'all. My dad came. He, like, literally spawned out of nowhere. That was kinda awkward. Then, after he left, Daniel and I were making out. He was like on top of me grabbing my boobs and shit, then some grandma yelled at us, and we came here. The end." I explained.
"... I'm pretty sure this is the most I've heard you talk at once since we started hanging out with you. Wow." Grace teased.
We all started laughing.
"E, you and Daniel are practically soulmates. You're like exactly the same person." Vanessa gushed.
"We better be bridesmaids at y'all wedding. And I better be the maid of honor." Syd hissed.
"Hm, is that because you wanna be the maid of honor, or is it because you're sleeping with my brother?" I teased.
"What?!" The others gasped.
"Oops." I giggled.
"How long has that been going on?" Aya asked.
"Well, remember when it was heard that Eli was actually alive, he came over to all our houses? So, when he came to mine, I was hugging him and shit, then we were talking for a bit, and we ended up getting high, 'cause you know, I always got weed on me, and then we admitted we've had feelings for each other for years, then one thing led to another, and we slept together. Now, here we are." Syd explained.
"Hey, it's time to play Cards Against Humanity." Manny grinned as he opened the door.
"Alright, let's go," Vanessa exclaimed.
For those who don't know what the game "Cards Against Humanity" is, there are two kinds of cards. Black cards and white ones. The black ones have sentences with blanks in them, and the white ones are the phrases to fill in those blanks. One person is the judge, and whoever puts down the funniest card for the sentence wins the round. Then whoever has the most black cards at the end wins the game.
By the end of the game, Syd won. I'm not surprised... Then we all ate as we watched a movie.
"This movie isn't so scary." Daniel chuckled as he put his arm around me.
"Next thing you know, you'll be crying for your mommy," Treyvonne teased.
"Pfft, please, I don't get scared easily." Daniel gloated.
A few minutes later, there was a jump scare, and he quickly held his grip on my waist.
"I'll just act like your hand is there to make this intimate," I whispered.
