First and Last

Chapter 49

The entrance door automatically opened as I entered our company. My black suit and tight skirt with my black shiny heels cover the whole ambiance of the area. I removed my shades and placed it inside my bag. The employee on the front desk bowed her hands to me as she greeted me a good morning.


I smiled at them. My red lips formed a thin line whenever they greeted me. “Good morning, too.”


I removed my black coat when I am on my office. My secretary placed my favorite coffee on my table. Biglang kumalat ang amoy na iyon sa loob. I inhaled the familiar coffee scent as I took glances on my huge glass window.


Itinaas ko ng bahagya ang venetian blinds para makapasok ang liwanag at binuksan ang air-con. I opened my desktop computer before I sipped my coffee. “Finally!!!”


I turned my head when I heard their voice. Isa-isang pumasok sa loob ang mga kaibigan ko. Dave lead them. Nangunguna na naman itong pumasok at makialam sa mga gamit ko. He even went on my back and checked on what I am doing.


“You’re here na!” Jelly said excitedly. Lumago pa lalo ang mahaba nitong buhok. She wore a simple baby blue long sleeves and a skirt.


“Hey. What’s up?” lumapit sa akin si Sean at nakipag-appear. He also removed his coat and only a white long sleeves tucked in his black pants. His veins also protruded I his arms.


Ngumiti ako sa kanila. “Ako dapat ang nagtatanong sa inyo ng ganyan.” maliit akong napatawa sa kanila habang naktingin sila sa akin. “Kamusta ang kumpanya sa inyo?”


They laughed. Leigh seated on my sofa. Mas tumangkad at nadepina ang hubog nito habang simpleng nagbabasa. She smiled at me and put down her book. She hugged me and patted my back as she said her greetings.


“We missed you.” she whispered in my ear.


We ate for lunch together. Ilang meetings and deliberation of reports ang nangyari sa buong maghapon. Arrow called me. He said he will wait me downstairs. I also met Mang Reynaldo to ask him. Kapwa nakabangon na sa sunog ang pamilya niya at ang iba pa. I am thankful of him. He was a big helped in resolving the case. I am happy that they are back in living the life they used to be.


I waited the elevator as it go down. May mga kasabayan akong employee and we had a little conversation. Nang makababa sa groundfloor ay nakita ko si Arrow sa sasakyan niya. He stood up immediately and approached me as he get my bag on my hand. He opened the car door.


“Thank you.” I said bago siya lumapit sa driver seat. I kissed his cheek and smiled when he blushed.


“Nakakagulat ka naman, love.” he giggled.


He maneuvered the car. Nasa daan kami ng banggitin niya ang pag-aaya ng tropa. Mukhang nagka-usap ang mga kaibigan namin at gustong magsaya. They want to have a little get together. Nagpalit lang kami ni Arrow ng damit pagkauwi. We ate our dinner and went to their high-end classic bar.


My red flowy dress and white sandals matched the aura of the place. Arrow in his simple maong pants and white shirt and a cap on his head. Pagkarating namin ay naroon na ang mga kaibigan. Aelius and Dave are busy talking to each other. Napataas pa ang kilay ko ng makitang nakikipag-usap sa kanya si Aelius. The boy is smiling.


Arrow tapped their shoulder. Magkasundo na sila ni Sean at wala ng ilangan. I joined the girls on their seats. They poured my glass a ladies drink. We talked a lot of things. Jelly talked about his son. Nasa adjustment level pa ang babae simula ng manganak. She talked about stressful yet enjoyable to become a mother.  Nakabukod na silang dalawa ni Dave sa mga magulang. Nakikinig lang ako sa kanya at paminsan-minsang nakikisali kapag may tanong.


“Ewan ko ba. Manang-mana ang anak namin kay Dave. Parehas na sutil at makulit.” she said after sipping her drink. “Kapag gabi ay sobra kung umiyak tapos napapatahan lang ni Dave. Kinabukasan ayun, dinadala nung ama niya para maarawan sa labas.”


We laughed. When the music started to get loud, the girls stood up to dance in the middle. Hawak-hawak nila ang mga baso habang sumasayaw sa gitna. I filmed them. I gulped the orange on my drink before I go to them. I can feel the effect of the alcohol on my system. My hair danced on the rhythm of my body.


Even Leigh swayed her body on the music beat. Mas madami siyang nainom kaysa sa amin kanina. Her black dress curved her body and his long straight hair swayed too. Saglit kong nakita ang pagdaan ng paghanga sa mga mata ni Aelius pagkakita sa dalaga. Gone is the girl who always in her book era. The Leigh I see at this moment is the woman who confidently dancing and not caring on everyone’s eye.


I turned on Arrow’s side only to saw what he mouthed. “I love you.” he raised his eyebrows up and down and he sipped on his wine. Hindi pa lasing ang lalaki. Hindi gaya ng mga kasama niyang may kaunting tama na ng alak. Even Hercules face blushed when Lean threw a flying kiss on him.


The girls shouted their chant. “Confidently beautiful with our daddies! Confidently beautiful with our daddies!”


I giggled when I understand their yell. Ilang sandali lang ang itinagal namin ng samahan kami ng mga lalaki sa gitna. Arrow held my waist smoothly as he also swayed his body into mine. Nasa likod ko siya habang sumasabay sa akin. I became more confidence to dance. He placed my hair on the other side of my shoulder for easy access to him with his kisses. His red lips gently nipped my neck.


I turned my head on the other side only to find out that our friends are busy to each other. The couples are also have their own time, dancing. Ngayon ko lang nakita si Hercules na malawak ang pagkakangiti habang ineengganyo ni Lean na sumayaw pa. Dave and Jelly are hyping up each other to move more. Jelly is taking a video of her husband while cheering him. Sumunod ay si Jelly naman ang sumasayaw habang hawak-hawak ni Dave ang camera. Nawala na sa paningin ko sila Leigh at Aelius. Kanina ay katabi pa namin sila ni Arrow dito sa medyo madilim na parte sa gitna. Even Kier is gone in my eyesight too. Si Sean ay simpleng nakaupo sa pwesto namin.


“Focus on me, love.” Arrow hold my cheeks. Dumiin ang pagkakahawak niya sa beywang ko as we swayed our body synchronously on the beat. I unconsciously bit my lips in front of him. Biglang dumaan ang saglit na liwanag sa gawi namin kaya nakita ko ang mainit na ekspresyon niya. “Sexy.”


Bigla ang daan ng hiya sa akin. Napayuko ako sa dibdib niya at nagtago saglit doon. He chuckled handsomely. One thing I realized, wala siyang pakialam sa makakakita sa amin. He didn’t care about the camera and people who might taking pictures with us. Maski ang mga kaibigan sa banda ay ganoon din. Even if it’s a high-end bar and the security is high, hindi pa din makakaligtas sa paningin ng mga tao ang ganito lalo na kung kilala sa publiko.


“Let’s go home and f*ck each other.” he murmured on my ear.


Napahugot ako ng hininga at biglang kumalat ang init sa sistema ko. “Stop that.” suway ko sa kanya.


His deep eyes becomes darker. It’s eleven in the evening. They ordered again a new batch of alcohol. Nakasandal si Leigh kay Aelius na tila pagod na pagod. Nakahawak ako kay Arrow habang pinapanood siyang umiinom ng alak.


I heard Kier deep sighed. Mukhang nawala na ang tama ng lalaki mula ng makabalik dito. I even smelled a women’s fragrance on him. I want to ask him why but I didn’t try. Mukhang nasa malalim ng pag-iisip ang lalaki kahit na malakas ang tugtog sa lugar.


Nang malapit ng mag-madaling araw ay nauna ng umuwi sina Dave at Jelly. Nasa magulang ni Dave ang anak at kailangan pa nila itong asikasuhin sa umaga. Sumunod kami ni Arrow sa kanila pagkatapos ng kalahating oras. Antok na antok na ako habang nasa sasakyan. Amoy alak na din ako habang ang katabi ko ay hindi man lang nahalo ang amoy ng alak sa katawan niya.


Mas lasing ako kaysa kay Arrow. Nakakapag-drive pa ito ng maayos habang ako ay lupaypay at nakapikit na sa upuan. I reached his legs and pinched it. I murmured things that even me I couldn’t understand.


“Wait for me until we reach our house.”


Siya na ang nagbukas ng pintuan. He looked the keys on my bag and inserted it to keyhole. The alcohol ate my system. I suddenly feel warm. I grabbed his collar and kissed his red lips. I nibbled the lower lips as I brushed my fingers in his hair.


Pinagdikit niya ang katawan namin at hinubad ang suot na t-shirt. I can feel his bare skin pressing on my body. His touch is in fire as I craved more. I went down to his neck and bite it. Narinig ko ang mahinang daing niya but it cannot stop me from what I want to do.


My hands reached his belt and unclasped it. Pasimple niyang dinala ang kamay ko sa likod as he carried me to our bedroom. Nang maramdaman ko ang lambot ng kama sa likuran ay doon sumalakay ang antok ko. I feel sleepy at the moment but my man still showering kisses all over me.


He removed my bra but my dress is still on me. I gasped when I felt his hands. Nasabunutan ko na ang sarili sa nararamdaman. Umiikot na ang paningin ko at mabigat na ang aking ulo. His lips travelled on my abdomen until he reached his desirable destination.


I rubbed my eyes to stop myself from falling to sleep pero sa huli ay nilamon na din ako ng antok at pagod. I hope hindi sobrang sumakit ang ulo ko bukas. Hindi ko na naalala pa kung ano ng nangyari sa amin. All I know is that I fallen in a deep sleep under Arrow’s arms around me.
