The next next day, we went to the farm to help them harvest the crops.

It’s the first day of harvesting that’s why people are super busy.

“Dito ka muna baby. Matamaan ka ng mga mangga.” He warned.

The hacienda’s mangoes plantation is one of our source of income.

I expressed.

“Omg! Ang tamis! It’s so sarap!” he exclaimed.

The people laughed. “Anak ni Melai yern?!”

I smacked his arms a little.

The people are happy because of the good harvest we continuously experienced throughout the years.

We ate our lunch on the mangoes plantation and later on we went to Abuela to see her. She was with other seniors talking about their days and life. She was giggling.

She instructed the farmers to come here when the dealing of crops is done…for a celebration. Bagay na ikinatuwa ng lahat.

On the evening, Arrow and I watched some movies on my room. He cooked popcorns while me prepared our drinks.

He even clutched the side of my evening dress and whenever I joke him, he always denied that “He is not afraid.”

“Anong takot?! Ako!” turo niya sa sarili niya. “It just a ghost! Tao lang din ya---f*ck!!!”

He shouted and I laughed hard because of his scared face.

That’s our night went. He insisted that he will sleep on my room because he’s worrying that I may get scared.

He turned on the lamp on his side and placed our phones beside it.

“Hindi ka talaga takot?” pag-uusisa ko.

“Hindi nga!” he denied.

I smiled and hugged him. “Good night, Arrow.”

“Good night, baby.” He said after kissing my forehead.

The next day, I woke up without Arrow on my side.

“Good morning, Manang.”

I opened the refrigerator to find some fresh milks. I poured it on a drinking glass and turned my back on ref to find some fruits.

“Ayy hindi ko naabutan’nak! Baka andyan lang sa labas.” She assured.

She put the breakfast on my front and joined us to eat with Abuela who is busy reading on her book of recipes.
