I silently made my way over and picked her up, "Shh, little one. Let Mama and Dada sleep. Let's go see the fishes in the pond, okay?" She did a silent giggle and nodded rapidly. We'd almost made it to the door when I heard Pixie.

"Don't let her get in the water, milseán," she said sleepily.

"I won't Pixie. Rest a bit longer. We're going to the diner later, Uncle stopped by earlier." I told her. She nodded and rolled back onto Gabe's chest.

I walked out to the front porch and started down the steps when I noticed Cade trotting towards us. "Ca!" Lochlyn squealed and reached for him. I laughed when she tugged at his ear. Just wait, mate, you won't be laughing when I bite your pretty neck, he growled in my mind. My cheeks flushed and he made a yipping noise before going behind the porch. Kota stepped out in a low-waisted pair of jeans and my mouth watered. He chuckled his eyes still amber and kissed my cheek as he took Lochlyn in his arms.

"Sorry if I woke you, I just couldn't sleep anymore," I said leaning into his arm that he had wrapped around my waist.

"Cade was restless after the long flight," Kota said, "We needed a run." He took my hand and led me to the edge of the water, then pulled me down with him. Lochlyn began pulling at the stray flowers in front of her. "So, I need to talk to you about something." He looked nervous.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

He shook his head, "No, I just wanted to talk to you and Nate about um, well," he stammered.

"About what," Nate asked, coming up behind us and lying down on the grass beside Lochlyn. "What has you so stressed, Kota? I can feel it in our connection, and I'm sure Luke can too."

He gave us both a sheepish look. "Well, that's actually part of it. That day in Fairie, when you let me mark you both, it was amazing, one of the best days of my life," he paused. "But it got me thinking about our differences."

"I'm confused, what differences?" I asked him.

"The fact that I'm a werewolf and neither of you are."

"Does that really matter?" Nate asked, "I mean, are you having second thoughts about marking us?"

"Gods no!" Kota exclaimed, "I was actually wondering if either of you wanted to become a werewolf too?"

Nate and I looked at each other for about a half a second before answering, "Hell yes!"

"Wait, what? You would?" Kota seemed surprised.

"You seriously think either of us would pass that up? I mean, I'm already a shifter, so gaining a wolf would be beyond amazing," I was giddy with excitement.

"Yeah, Luke's right. I mean the term is 'wolf of Odin', you know," Nate laughed.

Kota sighed and then kissed us both, before nuzzling Lochlyn. She giggled and pushed him away. His eyes glistened as he spoke, "I would never have imagined our lives would have turned out like this, but I am so blessed."

"Us too, love," Nate said, kissing his forehead. "So I guess we have a Christmas surprise for the family now too," he chuckled. "But I still need to go shopping for normal gifts."

"Yeah, I think we all do," I added.

We decided to hold Christmas at the mansion after Erica called in tears. Apparently, Jess had tried to make fudge and set the stove on fire. No serious damage, but enough that cooking dinner in the Lee family home was not an option. The house was soon filled with friends and family. Gabe had even created a snow spell to make it look like it was snowing inside the house. Kota teased him about ripping off Harry Potter for that idea. Gabe just laughed.
