Next morning jungkook woke up with a huge a grin adoring in his face. All the memories of last night still fresh in his mind and he couldn't help but blush recalling the way Taehyung has kissed his forehead before they went to their room . Well technically it wasn't a kiss more like a peck but that too is a lot for his heart.
After freshing up , he went downstairs to join the others for breakfast and of course he is eager to see the CEO as well . After last night their dynamic is bound to change and so jungkook wants to see how the other react to that . With all these different thoughts crowding his mind he got down the stairs .
He first spotted Mrs. Kim, who is working in the kitchen while Mr. Kim is reading newspaper in the dining table . He greeted the man good morning who greeted him back and went to the kitchen , couldn't being able to spot the person he was looking for . Mrs Kim smiled seeing him there ,
"You're up. Wait a little I'll serve the pancakes it's almost done"
"Okay I'll set the table then" Jungkook said trying to help the elder women.
"Oh such a sweetheart . Okay set the table for three"
"Three ?" Jungkook asked , the lady hummed in return making Jungkook confuse . He wanted to ask where is Taehyung but hold himself back thinking what if he is just sleeping till late .
But even when they are done with breakfast and Jungkook is helping the lady to wash the dishes Taehyung is no where in sight . So he decided to check his room if he is there but again the room is left tidy and no sign of the older. A sudden fear went down in his head , what if the older has left but that doesn't make any sense. Seeing no other option he tried the older's phone but apparently the he has left his phone on the bedside table.
It was then that the door opened making him turn around
"Oh Jungkook ? Are you looking for Tae ?" Mrs Kim asked tilting her head .
"Yes he didn't came for breakfast and so I thought he might be sleeping late but ..."
"He is not here as well.." she completed for the boy while arranging some of the pillows in the bed properly . She doesn't sounded worried to the slightest but rather kept dusting the bed while jungkook stand there in the middle of the room awkwardly.
"I'm afraid Jungkook you won't be able contact him till he decides to come back" .
"So you know where he has gone ?"
"I do . This is not the first time it happened" she shrugged .
"Huh!" Jungkook couldn't help but be more confused with the reply that does very little to answer his queries . Noticing his reaction Mrs. Kim took a seat on the bed and patted the space beside her . Jungkook went and sat obliging her .
