OLIVER's POV

I sat in my home's opulent office, the ring displayed before me in all its sparkling glory. I had chosen it meticulously, a masterpiece that radiated timeless elegance and beauty. With a deep breath, I whispered to the ring as though it held the wisdom of ages, "You are the symbol of my devotion, the key to a future beyond my wildest dreams."

Gilbert, stood nearby, his presence ever-loyal. Observing my contemplation of the ring, he couldn't help but smile. "She's a lucky woman, sir. This ring is a testament to the love you hold for her. When are you planning to propose?"

I glanced at Gilbert, gratitude shining in my eyes. My lips tipped up "As soon as she returns from London, in a week's time. I can't wait to ask her to be mine forever." my eyes return back to the ring

Gilbert nodded, his voice filled with unwavering support. "It's the right decision. The way you speak of her, the love in your eyes when you do, it's evident that Chloe means the world to you. She deserves nothing but the best."

I nodded him smiling at him dismissing afterwards wanting some alone time, He nods with a smile and leaves

Alina saw the ring yesterday and was balling her eyes out, she was angry at me at one point for not contacting her every now and then as if I am always jumping around the house with no work
