We went to watch movie as josh said we would but I kept glancing at him time to time

I think he noticed that but surprisingly he didn't said anything

We stopped at McDonalds after the movie and kept blabbering about how good the movie was

We watched Fast X and I couldn't stop saying how good the movie was, I mean Dante the villain in the movie Jason Momoa we are talking

That guy was Amazing I was on the edge of my seat whole movie the twists the suspense and I was gasping all the way

"I hate them for the suspense in the end though" Josh adds stuffing fries in his mouth

I nod sipping my drink "yeah"

After dropping off Emma the car ride was oddly silent I did not say anything and so did Josh

The car came to a stop and josh turned to me "Chloe?"

I was shocked he didn't called me Nuts

I hummed in response looking at him

"Are you hiding something from me? Because you've been acting quite weird lately" he says

I chuckle nervously "what? No man I am

He raises his eyebrow "you sure? You know you can talk to me about anything right?"

I take a deep breathe "okay listen, do not over react first just listen to me please" he nods at my words

"I- I have started to develop these certain feelings for you" he frowns a little "yeah I know this is weird that we are bestfriends but I have seem to like you and it was really eating me everyday you not knowing about it"

He stays quiet now looking at the gear

"I uh...I don't know what to say chloe" he looked at me meeting my gaze

I smile sadly "no its okay, I know you don't like-"

"I've liked you since you became friends with me, I have always never seen you as my friend but something else and every day it was so hard to keep these feelings to myself" he expresses making me still and shock

Reminding me of Oliver's words

"Guys never make girls their Best Friends they always have some kind of intention"

He takes my hand in his and softly looking at me "I am so relieved that you have also started liking me, you don't know how much happy I am"

I smile "well I do like you"

His eyes go down to my lips then he moves forward and within a second his lips were on mine

It was shocking to me that I didn't felt any butterflies they say the person you like when you kiss them you will have butterflies but I don't

Maybe its just a myth maybe this is just kissing and nothing else

He tried to kiss me more but I backed off he smiled at me "my best kiss ever"

I pass him a small smile

"So what are we now?" I ask him

"Obviously girlfriend and boyfriend" he says

I nod "okay then boyfriend"

He chuckles "yes girlfriend"
