When Beverly tells Data that he has nicer eyes than B-4 he thinks back to when he first met Dezirae and how she claimed that his eyes are softer than Lore's and he smiles at the memory.... for the next part of their adventure they head to Romulus to be a Envoy for the newest Praetor who Admiral Janeway told Jean-Luc isn't Romulan but Reman.... after they had returned to the Enterprise Dezirae had excused herself she figured she might not like desert planets all that much for the one they were just on reminded her too much of the destruction the Crystalline Entities make when they consume a planet but she hid her.... fear well while on the planet and told a worried Data why she had excused herself when he came to their quarters to check on her after he had helped Geordi reassemble his little brother B-4 and his worry diminished after hearing her explanation which he seemed to understand he also felt relief for he thought it was something much worse.... when Data downloaded a copy of his memory into B-4 he kept the erotically romantic relationship between him and Dezirae to himself.... in other words he did not allow his brother to have them Dezirae who was there when he and Geordi were commencing with the download noticed a port she knew shouldn't be there in B-4's neck and she points it out to both Geordi and Data and Geordi takes a look at it since Data was still connected to B-4 "it's a redundant memory port maybe the provisional memory storage is in case his neural pathways overload"  Geordi says "perhaps but this is not Noonian's work"  Dezirae replies Data turns his head to try and look at what they were speaking of and Geordi unhooks Data from B-4.... the download had just finished anyway.... "I wouldn't remove it though.... not until we know more about it for I do not wish to cause him harm"  she says Geordi nods with a smile then asks Data "do you mind if I keep him here for awhile? run a few diagnostics?"  Data replies "no I do not mind"  Dezirae looks at B-4 and says gently as she lays her hand on his shoulder "you're going to stay here with our friend Geordi for a little while but don't worry he'll take good care of you and if we have time we'll come back and visit ok!?"  B-4 looks up at her and nods she lets go of his shoulder then walks away and Data follows her out once they were outside Engineering Data asks "why did you speak to him like that!?!"  Dezirae replies "in some sense he is like Lal was, he's basically got the mindset of a child still learning about the ways of the world and since he knows you are his brother he may look to you for guidance over anyone else and want to be with you at all times but at this point in time that may be unwise especially if he wants to "help", yes you put your knowledge and..... some of your memories into his programming but it's possible that either his positronic brain isn't strong enough to comprehend it all or that port is making it so that it didn't work.... he seems fine so there isn't any reason to worry about him maybe while Geordi is running his diagnostic he can figure out why it was put on his neck to begin with though on a positive note you get the chance to get to know one of your other brothers"  he nods then smiles....

Dezirae had a deep dislike for the Praetor named Shinzon who is a poorly made clone of Jean-Luc who she claims looks nothing like him a claim that made Jean-Luc chuckle "you are so much better looking!"  she tells him and he bursts out laughing "I also think he's dying which in itself can be dangerous"  she tells him and he becomes serious he had asked if she would "be so gracious" as to play server for him and the Praetor when he went to have lunch with him and even he could sense her distrust of his clone from the moment she saw it/him the one thing he remembers most about about their encounter is the fact that Shinzon had claimed that she would be beautiful if she were human to which she replied "I am what I was meant to be and I don't give a fuck what YOU think of me"  which made Shinzon smile as she walks away after setting their dinner which she had cooked herself down in front of them.... "so.... I have a question for you R"  Dezirae says as she walks up to Riker who chuckles then asks "what sort of question!?!"  she asks "in your opinion what species has the ugliest women!?"  she asks he laughs then asks "where did this question come from!?!"  she replies "well when you went to meet your Envoy which wasn't a Envoy I felt Deanna's.... unease of the boy I do believe the Reman have the ability to "share" their telepathic abilities with others so.... I guess it would be best to have Deanna train herself to be prepared for anything"  he looks at her with a raised eyebrow at her "well I figured she could figure out a way to "pay him back" for invading her thoughts and or dreams by making herself into the ugliest woman possible and I'd rather it not be me so....!"  she says he laughs then looks at her with a semi-amused expression on his face then says "if I recall correctly you went down with Jean-Luc...."  she replies before he can finish "I do believe the Envoy's exact words were "you would be beautiful if you were human".."  the amusement he once felt dies in a instant "I can help her if she needs it but I'm not going to "take her place" I won't do that to Data or myself that creep doesn't deserve either of us!"  she says he nods then smiles a small smile as she continues "hence the reason I asked you what species has the ugliest women I'd ask Jean-Luc but he only has "flings" with the most beautiful women of any species after all he's the Captain!"  he bursts out laughing Deanna who was walking over to where they were smiles at them then is given the same "warning" Riker was and her smile turns into a frown for she wouldn't be surprised if her friend is right about Shinzon so she made the decision to semi-link with Dezirae for as long as they were in Romulan space dealing with the clone something she became grateful for once she fell asleep that night.... Shinzon felt immeasurable pain when he linked with Deanna and the woman he was making love to while inside her dream kept changing from one species to another and none of them were human which is his preferred choice and ALL of them were UGLY the first one was a Klingon woman the last was a Reman woman even his Viceroy was feeling the pain he was feeling since he was his link to the woman he wanted to be with he has his Viceroy try again when the link breaks but this time he couldn't link at all "DAMN THAT CREATURE SHE WILL PAY FOR HER INTERFERENCE!!"  Shinzon yells then he doubles over in pain which was a mix of his illness and the lingering affects of the link.... Riker feels Deanna sigh and sees her smile as they make love and for some reason he knows it isn't because of him so he stops and looks at her curiously "it worked!"  Deanna whispers softly he smiles for he knew what she was talking about and he replies "of course it did!"  Deanna chuckles then kisses him and they go back to making love for the link between her and Dezirae was more of a shield-like protection than a joining so making love to her husband was all her and not both for as Dezirae told Riker she would not do that to Data or herself.... even though those words were not pertained for him the same meaning applies for all men and women.... Dezirae who was having tea with Picard in his Ready Room watches as he disappears before her eyes she quickly stands up and rushes out of the Ready Room into the Bridge and over to Worf who she tells what just happened and he raises the shields as Shinzon's ship cloaks..... a few minutes later both Picard and Data who went onto Shinzon's ship to rescue his Captain by pretending to be his brother are beamed aboard the Enterprise after they escape on one of Shinzon's shuttles and Picard finds out that Dezirae was right that Shinzon is dying an as he was learning this Dezirae herself was standing next to Data as he stares at his brother who was in a stasis pod "asleep with his eyes open" she takes his hand in hers and gives it a light squeeze then he looks at her then lets go of her hand walks over to his brother and before he turns his brother back on he hears her whisper "don't be angry with him what happened wasn't his fault he may not have even known what they id to him"  he tells her "I'm not angry"  she says "your face says otherwise"  he tilts his head at her "that's a little better"  she says he smiles then he turns his brother on and the first thing B-4 sees is Dezirae smiling sadly at him he turns his head and sees Data walk over to Dezirae's side "brother, I cannot move"  B-4 says "no I have only activated your cognitive and communication subroutines"  Data replies "why?"  B-4 asks "because you are dangerous"  Data replies "Data!"  Dezirae scolds Data looks at her sadly "why?"  B-4 asks Data turns his attention back to his brother and says "you have been programmed to gather information that can be used against this ship"  B-4 replies "I do not understand"  Data says softly "I know"  then after a short pause he asks "do you know anything about Shinzon's plans against the Federation?"  B-4 replies "no"  Dezirae walks away which makes Data sad he even sees sadness shine in his brothers eyes and begins to somewhat understand what it was like when he "felt" emotions without FEELING emotions from the very day she came into his life it seemed to be a effect she has on everyone and that thought made him smile his smile becomes a frown once more as he continues to interrogate his own brother trying to get information about Shinzon and his ship then he deactivates him for there is no known "cure" for what has been done to him....
