Rumble in the Bronx

(Rocket POV)

I was holding Selinas hand, she had yet to wake up, but she was breathing, and her heart was beating at a normal pace, so she wasn't in any danger. I smiled when I heard a loud rumble come from above. The women I hadn't killed had stood and were watching the doors

I knew my team was here

I listened as more rumbles and thuds echoed, then several hits were at the doors. I smiled and opened 'em. When they exposed what was on the other side, there, in all her vine glory, was Ivy. Explosions occurred behind her, balls of flames covering the corridor

"Baby!" She screamed

I popped my head out of the room I was in and smiled "Hey bub! I'm in here!" I called to her

She used her vines to cross the room at a inhumane speed, as the women left behind ran out. When she saw her friend, she lowered herself to her feet and walked over "Is she okay?"

She gave me a kiss and I smiled into it "For now, but I'd like to get her to Francis"

"I told her to expect us"

"Good" I sighed in relief "Where's the others?"

"Having fun" Ivy chuckled "The police put up a good fight, but it's the armoured guards that are being the most difficult" I gently lifted Selina in my arms and we walked out of the room "I see you had fun" She smirked, looking at all the fallen bodies

"I mean, they started it" I shrugged. Once we got to the elevator, it opened and Jade stood inside wearing her mask and holding out her claws. When she saw me, she ran up to me and started checking my body "I'm okay" I chuckled, as she lifted my shirt

"Are you sure?" She asked, her tone soft but worried

"Yeah, they couldn't get me"

She lifted her mask and pulled me lower before kissing my cheek "Good" I couldn't help but feel so much love from her, a motherly love I've never felt before, and I never want to lose it "We better go, Rose is already setting up the explosives"

"Are ya serious?" I laughed

Entering the elevator, I held Selina close to me as Ivy and Jade stood in front. When the doors opened, an inmate went screaming past the doors as Barbara, in her Cheetah body, roared and chased him

There were pockets of flames everywhere ya looked, with bloody and torn apart bodies strewn all across the floors

I spotted Harley, smashing a guy over and over between his legs "That seems overkill" Jade noted, watching her too

"Joker made Harley sleep with him for entertainment" Ivy growled "He deserves much more"

A giant green sword flashed above our heads, slicing anyone in its way. Jo let out a scream and then brought out a comical mallet, smashing more guards. I noticed Rose running into different rooms, carrying a big bag before running to the next

Employees were running around screaming, trying to dodge attacks and get out of the building. Guards had given up trying to control the situation, and were just screaming and crying, begging to live

"I gotta find Nanaue" I told my girls

"No need boss" His deep voice sounded as he ran past us holding a decapitated head "They got me out" He threw the head at an armoured guard, using the distraction, grabbed the guard by the arm, and using his large jaw, bit him in half. He spat out the body parts and ran after another

"Hey kid" Rose giggled as she appeared infront of us "Bye kid" Than she ran into the elevator, letting it close

"Where's she going?" I asked my girls
