(Rocket POV)
I've been at this stupid doctors for hours. I'm hungry and very tired. When Jade explained to Francis and Hannah about my situation, Francis got into action while Hannah just kept hitting me and calling me an idiot
As each test was carried out, the doc kept finding nothing wrong with me. That usually would be a good thing, the only problem was, there's no evidence of the lung transplant....nothing. not even any scarring
My white cells are perfect
My heart rate is perfect
My red cells are perfect
Even my hair follicles are insanely perfect
"Nothing" Francis says as she reads the result of the latest blood test "Usually there's something on the higher spectrum of normal in blood tests, or lower. Like cholesterol, blood sugar, liver function, kidney function, but every single thing is perfect" She puts the piece of paper in front of her on her desk then glares at me "How old are you?"
"20 going on 21 in a few months" I answer confused cause she knows how old I am
"According to these results, you're 18"
"So I'm doing a Benjamin Button?" I smirk
"This isn't a joke Rocket" Jade scolds "This could be very bad for you"
"I know" I shrug "But it's happening. Whether I live to 100 or die tomorrow, it's not gonna change anything by worrying about it"
"Here are the final results babe" Hannah huffs as she walks into the room and hands Francis and sheet of paper
"Shit!" Francis gasped loudly whilst looking over the paper
"Oh god! What now?" Jade groans
"We tested Rockets blood to all the deadly diseases we have in the lab, she's immune" Francis explains
"I have Super-duper Blood?" I grin
"Rocket! Do you know what this means?" Hannah frowned
"I won't get sick?" I say, more of a question than a statement
"People are going to hunt you" She responds worriedly
"Not if they don't find out" I shrug nonchalantly
I don't know why everybody is so worried about this. All it means to me is that I'll be able to do my thing a little easier and this just put me very high up on the Super Villian rector scale
"Someone always finds out" Jade sighs "It's the way the world works I'm afraid. Nothing is kept secret for long"
"Well the only people who know about it are in this room" I tell her
"And the lab-techs" Francis groans "They won't say anything, but money makes for loose tongues"
"And the Bat" Hannah adds with a cringe "With how fast you moved and how easily you defeated him and got away, he won't let you go again"
