CHAP 29

~Three years later~

Killer's POV:

Three years have passed since I stopped living with my boss, many things have changed and I have been able to overcome everything that happened thanks to my brothers and companions.

The conversations I have with Nightmare have greatly decreased, mainly because our meetings have changed from being every day to only 4 days a week.

This change impressed everyone including me, from the beginning the reason why we met every day was so that we could have more time to create an ideal plan against the Star Sanses.

We all wonder what happened to make defeating the Star Sanses become a secondary interest.

The second thing I have noticed is that he seems distracted and tired in meetings but in a certain way he seems... happy?

My life has gone back to what it was before, from time to time we go to destroy some Au's to cause negativity, although it has become less frequent because of how busy the boss always is.

In a way, the few times we talk, Nightmare seems more relaxed, as if my presence will cause him peace of mind. I hope that isn't just my hallucinations.

Changing the subject, today Nightmare called us to make an important announcement, something about a new member of the Bad Guys group or something similar.

Just wondering who he is makes me very curious.

~In the castle~

We are all gathered at our usual meeting place and where we discuss plans to defeat the Star Sanses.

We have all arrived but as strange as it sounds Nightmare is still not in the castle.

'What could have happen?' I asked myself worried.

There was only confusion in the room, Nightmare was not one to be late, he had only been late a couple of times but that was a long time ago.

The room was filled with murmurs and questions, waiting for the boss to appear so that we could have answers.

Not long after, the squeak of the door being opened was heard.

"Damn, I really have to fix this annoying squeaking noise from this door, the mere sound of it gives me a headache" spoke an irritated voice entering through the door.

Everyone paid attention to the monster that had opened and entered through the door, which as you should have guessed was none other than Nightmare.

"So he finally arrive" Red said, being the first to speak.

"It's good that you arrived Bossy" Rasp continued speaking later.

"Something serious must have happened for you to arrive so late for a meeting" Dust spoke, looking away, not very interested.

Everyone kept asking questions and more questions about the boss's lateness. I noticed how the boss's face was frowning little by little, losing patience, deciding to intervene so that a possible massacre could be avoided.

"Come on guys, at least let the boss explain himself when he talks" I nervously interrupted, making small signs so that they would notice Nightmare's frown.

I think my hint was understood because seconds later the room was filled with total silence and they paid close attention to Nightmare's slightest movement.

"I apologize for my delay, the new member usually sleeps a lot and it took me a while to wake him up" he answered with a somewhat tired voice between a sigh.
