" Parthvi, what's come over you ? How can I stare at him like that, like a fool? He's My Grandfather's Best Friend. " I chided myself silently, not daring to look up.

I was screaming those words again and again in my mind, but I was not able to take my eyes off his enchanting alluring face, my eyes were stuck on him. He looked like a personality inspired by some "Game of Thrones" character.

"ह-हम चलते हैं।"

" H-Hum chalte hai. "

" I - I am leaving. " He said with a polite tone.

His slow voice brought me back to reality, and in my embarrassing manner, I found myself looking around aimlessly.

I was certain he must have been pondering my odd behavior, as I could sense his awkward gaze when I stared at him without blinking like a fool.

Despite whatever he might have been thinking, his slow voice continued to send shivers down my spine, creating a peculiar sensation inside me.

"ये मत कहिए कि हम चलते हैं, हमें ऐसा कहना चाहिए कि, हम आते हैं।"

" Yeh mat kahiyein ki hum chalte hai, humesha aisa kehna chahiyein ki, hum aate hai. "

"Don't say that you are going, always say that I am coming." Without thinking, I blurted out suddenly.

But the next moment, I tightly closed my eyes and pressed my tongue against my teeth, realizing I had once again placed myself in an embarrassing situation.

" Parthvi, what is wrong with you? Why do you feel the need to share your unwanted knowledge here? Are you his Grandmother or mother, teaching him manners as if he's a five-year-old kid? " I was furious with myself and equally embarrassed.

With a puzzled expression, he stared at me, and a sudden realization struck me - I was certain he believed I was either a fool or infatuated with him.

Ignoring my awkward outburst, he turned away without uttering a word and began to leave. In response, I swiftly pivoted on my heels, eager to avoid any further encounters.

I had no interest in subjecting myself to additional embarrassment, solely due to my own clumsiness.

"Am I becoming more foolish by stepping into this Ninth century, or has my brain genuinely ceased to function, leading me to spout nonsensical words?" Such thoughts swirled within my mind, and I fervently wished to return to my own time.
