Simon Riley (Ghost) – Ghost by: Alan walker and Au/Ra

You liked to sing a lot, it helped you calm down when things got too stressful. Today was one of those days where you were just stressed and overwhelmed by everything. You were currently in the kitchen making yourself food and cleaning up in the process.

The others were out and about around the base but you were alone in the kitchen. You hummed softly before you started to sing the first song that came to mind,

"Today I'm kinda feelin' like a ghost
Call my friends but ain't nobody home
Tell myself I'm fine, but I don't really know
I'm just scared that I'll end up
I'll end up, I'll end up alone

I never let it show
But I feel like a missed call on a phone
Tryna live my life pay as you go
But I'm so scared that I'll end up
I'll end up, I'll end up alone

You know I'm like a ghost
Sometimes I have to fade
And it haunts me that I have to be this way
You say it's gone cold
I say I'll do better
But I always seem to disappear again
You know I'm like a ghost
I see it in your face
And it haunts me that I have to be this way
You say it's gone cold
I say I'll do better
But I always seem to disappear again
You know I'm like a ghost"
You sang making your voice bounce off the walls and echo through the hallways. Ghost was in his room reading until he heard your voice. Curiously, he closed his book and got out of bed before quietly walking to the kitchen to see your back was turned towards him. You hummed again before you started singing once more.

"You know I never meant to cut you off
Got phantom feelings I can never stop
Stranger things to worry 'bout I know
But I'm so scared that I'll end up
I'll end up, I'll end up alone

I can't see myself in the mirror
Does that mean I'm not really here?
I'm losin' touch with everything I know
And I'm so scared that I'll end up
I'll end up, I'll end up alone

You know I'm like a ghost
Sometimes I have to fade
And it haunts me that I have to be this way
You say it's gone cold
I say I'll do better
But I always seem to disappear again
You know I'm like a ghost
I see it in your face
And it haunts me that I have to be this way
You say it's gone cold
I say I'll do better
But I always seem to disappear again
You know I'm like a ghost

You know I'm like a ghost
Ooh, I'll be ok
I'll be alright
I know, ooh, I'll be ok
I'm just scared that I'll end up alone

You know I'm like a ghost
I see it in your face
And it haunts me that I have to be this way
You say it's gone cold
I say I'll do better
But I always seem to disappear again
You know I'm like a ghost"
You finished singing and sighed a bit. Simon smirked and leaned against the wall adjacent to the kitchen and hallway. He crossed his arms a bit "Didn't know you sang love" he said which made you jumped and startled you a bit. You gasped and turned around "Jesus Simon, a little warning next time yea?" You asked him,

He chuckled a bit "Sorry love, heard your singing thought I'd come enjoy the show" he teased, you blushed and rolled your eyes a bit "I sing when I'm overwhelmed" you said, he nodded "You should sing more often. Very pretty" He complimented, you blushed more and smiled shyly before getting back to your food. Simon laughed as he walked up to you, wrapped his arms around your waist and kissed your head before retreating back to his room leaving your day a whole lot better.
