Luke stood at the door holding a silver tabby persian cat in his arms and I couldn't help but run over to him and take the cat as he hands it over.
"OMG you brought Ping pong." I said and rubbed her fur
Yeah, that was actually the name of the cutest cat on this earth and I loved her even though I hated her owner with every fiber in me.
"Hey Kate, you look so exited to see Ping pong, but what about me. I'm her owner after all?" And I couldn't help but glare at him
"There's a difference between a Ping pong and a Luke. Ping Pong is a cat and you are a being so think about it" I said and turned to look at Ping while Luke stared at me, confused
"Heck, what does that mean?" He asked as he scratched his head and I couldn't help the fact that the coners of my lips tugged up. Luke was an idiot and sometimes it was cute.

I then realised something and looked at him. "Luke what the heck are you doing here?" I asked and he had his usual smirk on
"Why didn't you ask Ping that question you embraced her warmly didn't you?, but as for me you're saying it like you don't want me here" he said with that stupid smirk still on and I narrowed my eyes at him
"You know what-" I asked but Ella cut me short
"I think that's enough for this morning" she suggested and I turned to glare at Luke to see that he had already beat me to it.
"Can't you guys get along even in this critical moment ?" Kyle asked with folded arms and I looked at him like there was a tarantula on his face.
"No!" Both Luke and I said in unison and they sighed. Ping then purred and I turned my attention to her and stroked her as I moved to sit on the couch
"Don't worry Ping you're now safe from that monster. Call me your heroine" I said and I heard Luke scoff from the background
"You a heroine?, like the world would have been destroyed if you were supergirl" he said as he moved from the back and came to tower above me"
"You know what-"
"That's enough" both Kyle and Ella said in unison and I turned my head round swiftly and narrowed my eyes at them
"Why do you always have to cut me mid sentence?" I asked and Luke laughed.
"Luke 1, Kate 0" he mouthed for only me to see and I glared back
"Idiot" I said
"Anyway" Ella said to break us from our glaring contest.
"Luke's here because from now onwards or maybe until your Dads arrive, he would be joining you two to school when Francis takes you" she said and I couldn't help but feel dismayed
"Ella don't tell me you took that desicion" I said and she shook her head and then I wondered who did
"It was actually Luke's aunt and I who took that desicion. We thought it would be best since you both lived in the same apartment." She added and I wanted to scream
"But why?" I asked
"Don't think that I'm that thrilled about it baby girl" Luke said and I huffed and hugged Ping tight
"Erm Kate, you're killing my cat" he said and I looked down to see that I was indeed chocking his cat. I immediately left her and she jumped of me and walked to her owner. But not before glaring at me
"Sorry Ping" I mouthed and Kyle laughed
"I wouldn't have regretted it if it were you" I said to Luke and Ella sighed
