Alistair was staring at Connor very firmly like he had read every facial expression and features of his face. He can’t believe that Connor may act like that. He can’t believe that Connor will let others to decide for his breakfast—not that it was a big deal but Connor’s nature was dominant and not letting others to decide for himself.

It was the first time that he let someone decide for him. It was the first time that Alistair felt that Connor wasn’t that prideful and boastful. But this time, he feels like not selfish, like he wasn’t thinking for himself only, but also for the others. Alistair therefore can’t tell that Connor just changed in one night because of his accident.

A man can’t change in just one night especially if Connor had a rigid perspectives in his own. He wasn’t listening to anyone and he only listen to himself. Connor had a nature of a selfish man that only listen to himself. A man like Connor can’t change in an instant and Alistair knew that as Connor had a selfish nature.

But Alistair can’t just let go the fact that Connor was just playing an act. And there is still a huge possibility that he was really playing an act. But if Connor really is, then he will really kill this man.

‘Serve him some seafood breakfast’ Alistair commented while looking straightly to Connor. However, Connor seemed clueless and didn’t oppose his comment. His eyes was roaming around and looks like analyzing everything around him like it was the first time that he went here.

The waiter left but Alistair was still looking at him firmly. He looks clueless and he looks very genuine in every actions he was doing. From what he did to the waiter, he looks accommodating. He even didn’t remember the waiter before. He really looks lost and strange. Like Connor had been born again but the same body but different personality. It seems like he had a multi personality disorder.

‘Wala ka bang ibang gagawin?’ Alistair asked out of the blue that made Connor turned his gaze to him. Tila walang alam itong tumingin sa kaniya at parang napakainosente nito sa kaniyang ekspresyon. ‘I mean, schedules from your business?

Alistair can’t speak Tagalog fluently as he wasn’t a pure Filipino. He had a foreign blood and it was several words of Tagalog language he can speak and can comprehend. But unlike Connor who seems very not fond of Tagalog language and cannot speak some Filipino words and can’t comprehend the words of Philippine language, then Alistair can speak some Filipino words.

English? O hindi ko alam, did you already became enthusiast to your father’s language?’

‘Por pavor, h-hindi ko lubusang maunawaan ang mga sinasambit mo, ginoo’ Alistair almost laugh but halted as he restrained it.

Alistair just shook his head and cover his mouth as he restrained himself not to laugh. But covering his mouth didn’t helped, in fact it was futile as he can’t stop himself from laughing.
