TEJASSWI'S POV

I was preparing breakfast while Karan was sleeping. It was sunday so I didn't wake him up.

I bent to take the frying pan from the lower cabinet and a slap landed on my butt.

Tejasswi: Ouch!

As soon as I turn, Karan wrapped his arms around my waist.

Tejasswi: Karan, why did you do that?

Karan: Why did you leave me ?

Tejasswi: I had to prepare the breakfast, that's why.

Karan: I wanted you to be by my side but you left me alone. You are not a good wife, you know?

Tejasswi: Really?

Karan: Yes and I'm not going to eat breakfast. You can eat it.

Tejasswi: Oh God! You are acting like a child now, Sunny.

Karan: Yeah, I'm a child. What are you gonna do now? Are you going to breastfeed me ?

I gasped at his remark and he pouted like a five years old kid.

Tejasswi: You...how can you say things like that Sunny?

Karan: What? There's no one else other than two of us.

Tejasswi: But still..you..uhm..you should not say things like that.

Karan: Or what?

I looked at him with a frown on my face and he took one step closer to me.

Karan: What if Literally wants you to breastfeed me?

Tejasswi: Sunny, it's not going to happen.

Karan: Really Laddoo? I can make you do that and you know that, right?

Tejasswi: You are talking rubbish.

I said while taking plates from the kitchen counter and placing them on the dining table. Karan followed me and took the plates back to the kitchen counter.

Tejasswi: What are you doing Karan?

Karan: Are you trying to ignore me, baby?

Tejasswi: What's wrong with you today?

Karan: Answer me, wifey. Are you by any chance, ignoring me?

Tejasswi: No, I was just going to eat breakfast.

Karan: Alone? Without me?

Tejasswi: Didn't you say that you don't want to eat breakfast?

Karan: Well, I'm going to eat now.

Tejasswi: Fine, let me get your plate.

I started moving towards the kitchen but he pulled me by my arm and I looked at him in confusion.

Tejasswi: What now Sunny?

Karan: Where are you going, wifey?

Tejasswi: Are you suffering from Alzheimer's disease? I've told you that I'm going to get your plate and....
