"Royal Farms Arena!" the crowd erupts into roars around me as Y/n addresses the crowd. Tonight is her final show. When booking the dates she purposely chose her hometown of Baltimore to close the tour with three shows. Her largest and most supportive fan base is here and she wanted to show her appreciation.
"I wanna say thank you for you all coming out tonight. Thank you for spending your hard, earned money on tickets to see me. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you supporting me from the literal beginning."
"Y/N! Y/N! Y/N! Y/N!" they chant over and over.
"Y'all know Charm City is my home, where it all began. There's someone in the audience tonight who's never been here, with me at least. And I wanna show her some love." Y/n walks off to the side of the stage and grabs a bouquet of white roses.
Next thing I know, one of the security guards is guiding me backstage.
"Normani, can you come out here please?" I walk out onto the stage and she grabs my hand.
"Y/n, what are you doing?" I blush and hide my face behind my hands.
"Being at home reminds me of the importance of the little things that make me happy. It reminds me of where I've been and where I am. A good portion of the things that make me the happiest, wouldn't be possible if I didn't have you." she hands me the bouquet of roses.
"MANI! MANI! MANI!" the crowd cheers for me.
"A friend of mine wrote a beautiful love song called everything, they go by the name of Kehlani. They said I could borrow their song for one night if that's alright with you." I nod, utterly speechless. "Is that alright with y'all?"
