Chapter 62: The Mystery II

Faraz: Cassandra, Vlad, Elaina... What do you need?

Cassandra (Video): Faraz, the suspect with time manifestation is probably in Bulgaria as we found a note from her saying she has more important business with Bulgarian heroes.

Faraz: ...!

Faraz was in shock.

Faraz: What?! Damn it, thanks for the info... I will see you tomorrow at the HQ.

The call ends and Faraz calls Plovdiv HQ... It was another video call... It answers.

Tatsumaki (Video): Faraz... You usually don't call, what's up?

Before Faraz says, he notices that she was not at the HQ, but at the beach.

Faraz: You're awfully comfy at the beach...

Tatsumaki (Video): Hey! I am on break, my assistant took over the HQ leadership while I am at Burgas. Now what's going on?

Faraz: Well Elena Alexova, the main suspect was spotted to be going to Bulgaria and we want you to inform all the Bulgarian heroes to be on guard.

Tatsumaki was drinking a nice cup of orange juice and spills it.

Tatsumaki (Video): I know it's winter and all, but like what the fuck do you mean she is at Bulgaria?!

Faraz: Yeah, it seems she left the America a days ago and she is at Bulgaria.

Tatsumaki (Video): Alright, I will warn all heroes... Not like I can't take her down myself or capture her for questioning, but I gotta alert the other heroes anyways.

Faraz: Alright, I will talk to you again after your vacation is over.

The video call ended and Faraz sighs... He looked at his phone and notices 1 missed call from his wife.

Meanwhile at Bulgaria, ???3 and Issy were at Plovdiv standing on a rooftop.

Issy: So, did they expose you yet?

???3: Probably, I mean our activity has grown so much now that the heroes are alerted for my presence under my fake identity.

Issy: Well, that is sad. ______, you knew this was gonna happen... But what would the best course of action be?

???3: If I get into a fight with my brother, the best would be for you to stay away and tell the order I quit once the fight happens.

Issy was kinda surprised, but she looked away a bit sad.

Issy: ... Well if that is what you wish for, better prepare for it.

Somewhere else in Plovdiv at the Ivanov Mansion, Mina and X were watching a movie together. They were alone of course.

Mina: So... When are we gonna move upstairs?

UltraX: Well, after the movie... Knowing you want to do this everyday, kinda scares me...

Ultra blushed a little and looked back at the tv to continue watching the movie for the next few minutes, then a knock on the door could be heard...

Mina: Oh, this must be my package.

Mina slowly gets up.

UltraX: Please don't say ya used the anti-hero base credit card again...

Mina: I... I used Mason's.

Mina then walks up to the door and opens it only to see a kunai with a letter.

Mina: Huh-

Mina picked up the kunai and letter and goes back and shows it to UltraX.

UltraX: A kunai with a letter, how interesting...

Mina: Yeah...

Mina puts the kunai on the table and gives the letter to X who notices it has his name written on it... Not his iconic name, but his other name... He was surprised.

UltraX: Damn, whoever written it knows my name.... My real name.

Mina: Oh, the romantic name you stopped using cause ya wanted to be presumed death for a while~

UltraX: Jee, anyways.

They started to read the letter.

[ "Luboslav Ivanov or preferably, UltraX. I know you're looking for me, but you have yet to discover my location... How about we meet around December 31st 10:00 PM at a quiet part of the city... But till then, try and figure out my real identity and go back to Vidin and check your old Ivanov household in Vidin..." ]

UltraX was surprised, but then again this must've been a letter from Elena Alexova, but how does she know about the old household...

UltraX: Welp... This has become interesting... Very interesting.

Mina: O-Old household in Vidin, gosh you never shown me that place, only the apartment near the Dunabe river or something.

UltraX: Yeah, this old household used to be at a time when I studied at Vidin with my best friend and the others and when Iskra was not kidnapping her siblings.

Mina: So, you're gonna go there?

UltraX: If I want to find out more, yes. But first, we got plenty of time so... Let's take it easy and find more clues around Sofia and Plovdiv before heading to Vidin, I will inform my mom of this letter later...

Of course within that, raises the question... Why does anyone know of this place or even remember it? It was in Ruins after the incident and it was left like that...

Later the same day, UltraX showed the letter to Willow who just came back from her duties and...

Willow: ... Nani?! How can you be sure that the letter is by Elena Alexova though?

She was shocked all of the sudden, but after saying "nani" her expression changed and she questioned whether he was fully sure or not.

UltraX: Well, I'm sure of it cause I did a digging of my own about the mystery... I've found a bunch of old letters and signed marks matching her writing style...

Willow: Old letters, like what?

UltraX: Mainly letters written to partner companies through the middle east, OPEC+ and such.

Willow: So when are you going, son?

UltraX sighs.

UltraX: After we clear reports of Issy's activity in Sofia.

Willow: Alright...

Both of them continued discussing the mystery and Luke was actually listening in without disturbing their conversation...
