I ran through the streets, directing people to the air-taxis. I think Y/N called them mini-carriers. There was a lot of noise and shouting but overall, everything was fine. Other than Ultron still being a problem and my throat starting to hurt because of all the yelling. I saw Clint herding people one way, Wanda helping people out of a building. A loud crash came over comms, I tapped it

"Hello?"

"Hey, is everyone ok? Maria, Nick you alright up there?" Y/N asked, making me look up to see a large hole in the windshield of the helicarrier, presumably caused by one of the robots.

"We're fine, everyone's fine." Maria said through comms, her breathing heavy.

Suddenly, Ultron's voice vibrated through the comms.

"You think you're saving anyone?" He asked, scoffing "I turn that key and drop this rock a little early and it's still billion's dead. You can't stop that."

Then Thor's deep voice boomed through the comms, obviously addressed at Ultron

"I am Thor, son of Odin and as long as there... is life... in my breast...I am...running out of things to say!"He paused every so often, grunting. Probably being strangled by Ultron.

"Don't worry about him."Y/N came up behind me "As he never fails to remind us, he is mighty. Also I don't know if his ego will allow him to die." She paused thoughtfully. "I'm gonna think about that." I laughed, thankful that she could lighten up any situation with a few sarcastic one-liners.

"Are you ready?" Thor's voice became clearer than his previous mumblings about honour and might, a large clang sounded as Vision's voice came up on comms

"That hammer is terribly well balanced." I raised my eyebrows, looking at Y/N curiously.

"Thor's hammer." She clarified, I nodded.

Stark's voice exploded into my ear. "Thor, I've got a plan!"

"Too late, Ultron's coming for the core." Thor replied

"Rhodey, get the rest of the people on board those carriers."

"On it," Rhodey answered Stark

"Avengers." Tony addressed all of us "Time to work for a living."

Y/N rolled her eyes, huffing "I'm not getting paid Dad."

"Uhhhhh we can have cake together when we get back?" Stark suggested, I smiled imagining his face as he tried to come up with a good idea.

"Fine, but I get to choose where and what cake we're having." She replied

"As long as it isn't red velvet cake then I'm alright with that."

"Ok." Y/N turned to me and whispered "We're having red velvet." I laughed as she ran off to the church which was now a skeleton of a building. I sped past her, smirking and she stuck her tongue out at me.

When we got there, everyone was already fighting at least two robots. Y/N slid under Nat's robot, tripping it up and chopping off its legs and then beheading the one that would have blasted Wanda's head off. I became engaged in a battle within 10 seconds of being there. I ripped off their arms and heads, starting to wear out. This was where my metabolism failed me. I was hungry all the time. Wanda obviously sensed it because she turned to me and furrowed her brows. You're hungry, do you have any food on you? I shook my head, elbowing a robot out of the way. Wanda then turned to Y/N, concentrating hard. Her fingers were focused on the robots around her but her eyes were directed at the woman facing her. She was putting a message in her mind. Y/N blinked and then fumbled at her belt. She chucked a cereal bar over at me. I nodded in thanks as I bit down and kicked simultaneously.

I have to say, I think we looked pretty badass in a circle fighting the robots. I would like to have seen it in a movie but no one was filming. Shame, I'm probably quite photogenic. I bet Y/N is too. I never noticed it before-well I did but it didn't really register-Y/N was quite pretty. Actually I'd seen lots of pretty girls before, Y/N was gorgeous. I felt Wanda look over at me and smirk, sending a mental pinch with her magic which felt like a split second headache. I turned around and focused on what I was meant to be doing, fighting robots. Doing all the fighting on autopilot mode wasn't the best idea.
