The next day we all met in the lab to discuss last night.

"He used the internet to escape, he could be anywhere."

"He has everything, the files and history of all of us." Nat stated

"Perfect! He probably knows more about us than we know about each other." I said sarcastically.

"He's in the internet. What if he decides to get something more...exciting?" Rhodey asked.

"Nuclear codes." Maria said gravely

"Nukes? I thought he wanted us dead." Nat questioned.

"He didn't say dead. He said extinct." Steve quoted. Clint started pacing, "He said he killed somebody."

"There wasn't anyone else in the building though." Maria wondered.

"Yes," I started suddenly, "There was." I grabbed a control off the workbench and switched on the hologram projector. A model of JARVIS appeared. Broken and malfunctioning. "He killed JARVIS."

"JARVIS was the first line of defence, he would have shut Ultron down. It makes sense." Steve murmured.

"No. Ultron could have assimilated JARVIS, this isn't strategy this is..." Bruce paused "Rage."

"What a bitch." I huffed

At that moment, Thor strode in looking quite angry and immediately grabbed Dad's throat.

"Come on, use your words buddy." Dad struggled

"I have more than enough words to describe you, Stark." Thor sneered

"Thor!" I raised my voice and he put Dad down.

"What leads did you get?" Steve asked.

"The trail went cold about 100 miles outward headed North. With the sceptre. We have to get it back."

"The genie's outta that bottle, clear and present as Ultron." Nat remarked.

Helen Cho piped up "I don't understand. You built this program." She looked at Dad "Why is it trying to kill us?"

"She makes a good point." I agreed

Dad started laughing and looked at Bruce who was shaking his head warningly.

"You think this funny Stark?" Thor growled

"No." Dad looked around. "It's probably not, right? Is it so terrible? It is so terrible right now."

"We could have avoided this if you hadn't meddled with what you didn't understand." Thor huffed.

"Oh I'm sorry, it's you who doesn't get why we need this." Dad snarled.

"Tony, this might not be the time-" Bruce warned.

"Really?" Dad interrupted "That's it you just roll over, show your belly every time anyone snarls?"

"Only if I've created a murder bot." He reasoned.

"We didn't" Dad said adamantly "We were close to an interface!"

"I beg to differ." I muttered

"Well you did something, and you did it right here." Steve looked up "The avengers were supposed to be different from SHIELD."

"Anybody remember when I flew a nuke into a wormhole?" Dad said, changing the topic completely.

"No, nothing comes to mind," Rhodey shook his head.

"Saved New York? Recall that? An alien army came through a hole in space and we were 300 feet below it." He paused "We're the Avengers. We can bust any arms dealer any day but up there?" He pointed up "That's the A game. How do you plan to beat them?"

"Together." Steve replied.

"You'll lose."

"Then we'll do that together too." I piped up as Dad looked at me, " Dad, Thors right, Ultron is playing for a fight and we need to find him before he finds us. Cuz I'd rather not be killed by a bot with anger issues"
