Sunday afternoon:

Aiden's POV:

After a while of sitting in my room, I decide to go back downstairs and sit with my family. I thought about everything going on in my life and spent the rest of my hours here scrolling through Instagram.

Walking down the stairs, I hear muffled voices from the living room.

"Hey" I say, flopping down onto one of the couch's. Jake and Sam are sitting on either end of a couch with Alex squished in the middle

"Hi 'd-de.." Alex starts but can't finish due to his stuttering. He takes a deep breath and closes his eyes. "Hi 'den." He says

I smile "good job, bud" to which Alex grins. We could all see that saying such a simple thing was a hard task for him.

"Where's everyone else?" I ask. Normally, everyone stays in their rooms or the occasional few people will sit in the kitchen or living room

"Probably in their rooms" Jake shrugs

I nod in understanding and acknowledgement and decided it's been a little too long since I've seen Isabella.

"I'm going upstairs then" I say after a few minutes

"Okay" Sam replies

"Bye" Alex and Jake say

Alex's arm jerks out and back again. His fingers curl into fists and then he lets go. I'm assuming this is another one of his tics.

As I walk up the stairs, I pull my phone out of my sweatpants pocket. After sending Iz a quick text, I wait patiently for her to respond.

---

It's been around an hour since Izzy came over. We both sit on my bed with our legs stretched out and backs on my headboard. I go on my camera roll and shuffle towards Izzy. She shoots me a confused look but I gently grab her jaw and squish her cheeks slightly together

The corners of our lips simultaneously lift upwards slightly and I snap a photo. This is definitely getting printed and hung up in my room.

I drop her jaw from my gentle grip but I don't make any move to shuffle away again

I drop her jaw from my gentle grip but I don't make any move to shuffle away again. I like being in a close enough distance where the invisible hairs of our sweatpants are touching.

Our arms were softly brushing against one another and I was afraid if I move in the slightest, Izzy would take it as a sign to move away also

A knock on the door broke me out of my thoughts. I visibly jumped but instantly calmed down

I shot a playful glare to Izzy as I could hear her trying to hold back a laugh at my reaction. She was doing a good job except for the fact I have superb hearing.
